Hunting is also available during hunting season. brbrWILDLIFE: Most of the land is under conservation easement and hosts a diversity of wildlife that live on habitat we restored for fish, birds, and mammals. The restoration project included 2 miles of Fox Creek and the creation of three ponds across the property. As a result, native Yellowstone cutthroat, brook, and cut-bow hybrid trout again spawn in the creek, endangered bird species (including trumpeter swans) have been released on our ponds, and sandhill cranes perform mating dances in our fields. Guests can birdwatch from the house or on a walk around the property to see species like cranes, eagles, osprey, hawks, owls, ducks, geese, kingfishers, bobolinks, red-winged blackbirds, curlew and many more. Don't forget to check out the osprey nest and blue heron rookery! Moose, deer, foxes, coyotes, otters, and other mammals are also often seen right from the house.brbrTHE HOME: The living spaces include a large, remodeled house and additional beds and bathrooms in a living suite above the garage.
