Enjoy a fun family cabin near the West entrance to Yellowstone National Part and the fun town of West Yellowstone. brPerfect for family reunions or a fun get away with family and friends. We have found that kids love to stay together in the loft and can be heard giggling and talking for hours. We have a pack-and-play and a highchair in case you are traveling with an infant.brbrIf you plan on cooking at the cabin, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, eating utensils and place settings for 14. There are small appliances for you to use including, crock pots (large and small), hand mixer, blender, griddle, coffee maker and toaster in addition to a propane grill on the front deck. The cupboards have basic cooking supplies such as sugar, flour, salt baking soda and a variety of spices.brbrThere is a game closet filled with games, puzzles, movies and children's toys in case of inclement weather or if you chose to spend a day around the cabin. Twenty miles to the North is the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the fun town of West Yellowstone, where you can enjoy the Yellowstone Museum, IMAX theater, tons of souvenir shopping, and even take in a show at the Play-Mill Theater. Just 10 miles to the South is Mack's Inn, where you can float the river or go to Big Springs, where you can see the springs at the head of the Snake River and view huge trout in crystal clear water. If you choose to eat out, there are many good restaurants in both Island Park and West Yellowstone. brbrThere is no public transportation in the Island Park/West Yellowstone area. Cabin is located just 20 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This cabin has been used as a gathering place for friends and families throughout the years and has everything you need to feel right at home. A quiet and secluded spot to relax after a day of visiting the park. Other than the owners garage, the adjacent lots are undeveloped fields of wild flowers and Aspen trees. The other side of the street is completely undeveloped wilderness and makes for great sunsets. You have a great chance at seeing moose as they seem to make the neighborhood their home over the summer months. The cabin is nestled in a wooded neighborhood, giving you a break from the wind and weather while also being conveniently located, offering easy access to the many activities that Island Park has to offer. Very easy to access and find only needing two turns once you have exited the highway. Property manager lives two lots away, and is available if anything is needing attention during your stay. The porch of this cabin is spectacular! A great place to unwind and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The yard has a swingset and firepit that you are more than welcome to use. Kitchen is more than fully stocked with utensils and appliances needed for cooking. While the cabin can fit more guests, we limit it to eight people to minimize wear and tear. Cabin does not include AC which most locals do not have. Most evenings really cool down. There is heat, including a propane fire stove. We hope to see you this summer!
