Additionally, wildlife and insects (including mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, deer, bears, mice, and other animals) are part of the natural setting. Although we do our best to minimize their presence, encounters are sometimes unavoidable. Refunds will not be provided for any of these circumstances.brbrPlease note that for stays exceeding 29 nights, Idaho law requires that we must obtain a lease from you before hosting your stay.brbrOur company policy also dictates that stays exceeding 29 nights require an extra cleaning every 29 days. We had plans to snowmobile and go sledding, and the location was absolutely perfect because we walked literally across the street to the lake to meet the company for our snowmobile rentals...and the sledding too was across the street at the golf course. The home was very spacious and accommodated our family of 6 and 2 dogs perfectly. The beds were very comfy, and the home had so many fun family games. Great stay!! - ElisabrbrPerfect location for our ice fishing trip, close to restaurants, tackle shop, and the lake. Very warm, lots of games for our older kids to be happy about, and all of the kitchen and coffee essentials we needed. - AlyssabrbrWe had a great stay at Matthew's place. It was cozy and nicely decorated, including some holiday items which made it feel very homey for our stay over New Years. The place itself is in a great location, walking distance to the lake and a quick drive to everything else in Cascade. We were able to get to trails and restaurants easily by foot, even in the winter. The hosts were communicative and available for anything we needed. If fishing is in your plans, you are already aware that the Cascade Lake fishery is drawing national attention as a wonderful place to catch a variety of fish. Crown Point Trail is a half mile away where you can hike, bike, snowshoe, or cross-country ski.brbrBlumisalp has massive west facing windows giving way to lots of light and a wonderful view of West Mountain peaks. There is a large front deck with gas BBQ to fry those fish and an outdoor table to enjoy the view and breathe the fresh mountain air. If you are looking for the perfect location to have a family reunion, The Great Outdoors is situated in the hub of Cascade Lake activity. This large home with its beautiful lake and mountain views is a stone's throw to the main boat ramp, state park, and the Lakeshore Restaurant/Golf Course. It boasts an amazing Theatre Room with a 75 Smart TV with blue tooth surround sound, dvd player and lots of movies. The historic Roxy Theatre, downtown shopping, restaurants, fair, rodeo grounds, Kelly's White Water park and Cascade Aquatic Center are all less than a mile away. brbrIn front on the lakeside, there is a huge grassy area for lawn games, volleyball and a big fire pit for evenings of roasted hotdogs and smores. The upper deck is the best place to watch the sunset over the lake and West Mountain while you relax with dinner on the gas BBQ.brbrInside, there are four spacious bedrooms, and this home will accommodate up to 16 guests. On the main floor, the master bedroom has a king bed, and a second bedroom has a king bed. The master has a 3/4 bath (shower only) and there is also a full bath. The daylight basement has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has two queen beds. The second has one queen bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The game room has a futon and a twin daybed. There is a 3/4 bath (shower only) downstairs. The dining table seats ten and there is additional seating for five to six people at the large kitchen island.brbrOther features include a laundry room, living room with large flat screen TV for movies, air conditioning, and a walk-out full basement featuring air hockey, a ping pong table and separate pellet stove.
