Beautiful home! Had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable. Love the TV viewing area in the living room with the reclining lounge chairs. Felt like you were at the movies. House was super clean. Would easily rent again. Property manager Kelly was a quick text away if I had any questions. She was very responsive.

Lovely cabin in the woods, clean and quiet. Plenty of outdoor activities in the area to get out and enjoy. We enjoyed kayaking, rafting, horse back rides, and the natural hot springs in the area.

We could not have chosen a more idyllic, upscale yet incredibly cozy cabin for our Family Girl's Winder Getaway! All those lovely recliners around that magnificent fireplace enticed us to curl up and relax...add a bit of wood to the fire...and continue to savor the ambience! The cabin offers privacy, yet a small store/eatery is just a five minute drive. We're looking forward to returning, perhaps next time to enjoy the river sans the snow.Photos are accurate. Overall, this property met or surpassed all our expectations.

What a wonderful weekend we had at such a beautiful peaceful home! We are already talking about wanting to stay again in the summer for a whole different expirence! We celebrated our twins turning 7, enjoyed the BEST private sledding, and made memories for our kids that they are over the moon happy about. We only expirenced a couple minor issues but they were nothing that was gonna hold us back from having the best time! Upstairs breaker is sensitive, which we learned quickly and simply just became more aware of what was all on at one time. No big deal! We did get stuck on the way up, It was complete ice and our truck unfortunately had some issues with 4x4 working properly. Luckily we were just down the hill around the corner, so I grabbed some stuff and took the kids up to the cabin. Just told the kiddos, its just a memory we will never forget. Gotta make the best of unforseen situations. Her dad was even SO kind to do it on his own birthday even though we would have totally understood and had the patience to wait until morning. Rare kinda guy, walking up that icy hill late at night with no complaints. He did it with a smile on his face, and we all made the best of the situation. The truck made it safely up to the cabin and we moved on like nothing happened. Life is unexpected and we are not upset at all over our small setbacks. Just want to mention them to help others be aware and hopefully prepare. We are absolutely greatful to have had such wonderful host to allow us to enjoy such a beautiful expirence. Thank you, truly. These trips can be ruined by a negative person in charge, so thank you, thank you, thank you for not only allowing us in your home, but for giving us a positive, fun expirence we will never forget! We absolutely recommend enjoying a stay here! It's a hard one to leave!

Beautiful very inviting place to stay. We reserved this beautiful cabin to attend a fun run at Smith's Ferry. We didn't get to spend much time there. We loved it and are definitely planning on booking again in the future to spend more time at the cabin.

First time staying closer to Smiths Ferry verses Cascade, Donnelly, or McCall. Property was quiet & home spacious for our large group. Pleasantly surprised by large laundry/storage area to keep coolers, snow gear out of way of main areas. Property manager made sure access to property was plowed frequently. We ran out of firewood that we brought but available wood to purchase on site was very reasonable. So was the early check in rate. Had lunch one day at Cougar Creek Lodge which is only a mile or two from property & it was excellent! Left 2 coats behind in a forgotten closet & Kelly was kind enough to bring into Meridian so we could arrange To get them from her. Overall, exceptional experience!

The private road had been plowed so although the parking area was slick, there was no concern about getting stuck. The gentleman who plowed the are was very friendly. The cabin was warm upon arrival which was very nice. I really appreciated the effort to add a little Christmas cheer with the two centerpieces and lights on the mantle. There could be a bit more lighting in the great room. Great sledding, the kids loved it.

We had an enjoyable stay. Have stayed in Smiths Ferry area a number of times and thoroughly enjoy the quietness it offers. This property is great for this purpose. It is by far the most expensive property we have seen in the area, but that is an individual decision we made to accommodate our schedule. Property was comfortable, well stocked with essentials, clean and has a great view. Kelly (contact for the stay) was very responsive for any questions we had. Thank you Kelly!! The view toward the river highlights this location. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning looking west over the river. Only a couple of suggestions. Might want to consider having some shades installed on the west windows so that the late afternoon sun could be filtered. It is really bright for an hour or two and, given how the furniture is situated, makes it difficult sit in the living room this time of day. While the BBQ worked, it is old and well past its prime and could use some attention. Overall, a great stay!

We had a good stay. Beautiful area. The view of the river was mostly through the trees. It was a steep walk down to the river and a bit longer distance to get there than I expected. Overall a great stay and very nice place. Fast internet access which allowed us to work remote as needed during our stay. Verizon cellphone access was also very good. The area was beautiful.
