Secretly hidden in a dirt alleyway under an ancient black walnut tree, no one would suspect that this designers dream was tucked away. Originally built in 1920 with what appeared to be a number of remodels ranging from practical to bizarre, we took nearly a year to completely remodel the inside of this home and make it the fantastic experience you've been looking for.1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed, please ask if you have more than two. Our dog fee is $45 per dog for the entire stay. Cats are not allowed.brEverything is new and designed by our local designer. If you can tear yourself away from the bathtub and luxury of this home, we are located 3 1/2 blocks from the blue turf, 1 1/2 blocks from the new Broadway Albertsons and a short $5 Uber or Bird scooter ride to Boise's downtown scene. Super easy to travel 4 blocks to Julia Davis park where Boise's zoo, bandshell and miles upon miles of greenbelt trail are located. Couple of things to note: there is NOT a washer/dryer and storage space is pretty limited - we opted to maximize the living space instead :) This is a classic college neighborhood. Very mature trees line all of the roads and there are a fair amount of young college students mixed in with older residents. Overall very nice neighborhood, but there are a few homes that could use some updating, etc. Super easy to get around by Uber/Lyft. There are scooters all over the place and there is a bus stop on Broadway about 3 blocks away or bus stops on University drive as well. If you have a car there is a two car uncovered parking space next to the home.brbrHouse Rules:brbr*Quiet Hours are between 9pm – 8am.br*There cannot be more than 4 people in or on the property at one time and no more than 2 occupants overnight.br*We do offer late check out and early check in, when possible, for a modest additional fee for our cleaners. An unplanned late check out really affects our cleaner's schedule. If you do not arrange a late checkout in advance, there is a $55 fee. If you do not checkout by noon, you will be charged an additional night's stay.br*This is a non-smoking house. $500 smoke mitigation fee will apply if smoking of any variety is found.br*Please remove shoes when entering the home to protect the flooring and reduce dirt intrusion.br*1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed. There is a pet servicing fee of $45/pet. This is a one time charge that will be requested via the Airbnb resolution center after you have booked. Our side of the river is pedestrian only walking trails for a little over a mile each way, up into Barber Park to the East and into ParkCenter business center to the West. Beyond that and on the opposite side of the river over the ParkCenter Bridge, the greenbelt welcomes bicycles. The Ridge to River trails are plentiful in the Foothills for hiking and mountain biking. Eastside Cycles here in Bown rents bikes for mountain trails or for greenbelt cruising.brbrGetting Around:brDriveway and street parking for drivers. UBER is now solidly in Boise for extra rides. Bus Route 18 stop on nearby Parkcenter Blvd to downtown.brbrBiking the greenbelt is a real option for getting anywhere along the Boise River, including BSU, Downtown Boise, out to Idaho Shakespeare Festival or Lucky Peak Reservoir. Bring the whole family for an amazing experience!brbrBoise Urban Farmhouse is one large home comprised of two different sides that are connected by a large mud/laundry room and an upstairs bonus room.brbrThe primary side features a stunning open concept great room with living/dining/kitchen and 14ft ceilings. The primary side also has three bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and a family room with built in desk and shelving.brbrThe secondary side features another great room that has its own kitchen/dining/living area and another large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This secondary great room also has its own separate exterior entrance.brbrFinally, the huge upstairs bonus room features a large bedroom, a full bathroom, and one additional living area that includes a sleeper sofa and a bunk bed.brbrAs a guest a Boise Urban Farmhouse you have access to the ENTIRE home. You get both great rooms with dining/kitchen/living in each one, all 5 bedrooms, all 5.5 bathrooms, all 4 living rooms with TV’s in each one, and the entire 1 acre yard with a heated pool (open mid-April through late October), hot tub (open all year) in-ground trampoline, in-ground basketball hoop, play structure, fire-pit, and garden.brbrThe only space that is not available for guests to use is the garage.brbrYou get to use the whole place and we'll give you a code for the keypad prior to your stay! The home has a secondary exterior entrance with a keypad that accesses the secondary kitchen/great room. The keypads on the primary and secondary entrances will both have the same code.brbrThe pool has an automatic cover. The switch for the pool cover is in a locked panel. You'll need to read and sign a pool agreement/waiver in order to get access to the code for the key box. The key box will give you access to the key that unlocks the pool cover switch panel so you can operate the cover switch to open and enjoy the pool.brbrThe pool and hot tub are professionally cleaned and serviced every week on Monday by Viking Pool and Patio. Please send a message 24 hours before check-in or check-out and we will let you know if we can accommodate an early check-in or late check-out at the end of your stay. This is an additional charge determined by us that must be paid prior to your check-in (for early check-in) and prior to your check-out (for late check-out). Guests are requested to vacate the property by the agreed upon check-out time. If guests are more than 30 minutes late in vacating the property, a fee of $75 will be assessed.
