The beach is very scenic but, is not considered a swimmable beach as it has a decent amount of coral. The surf is also unpredictable. It's best is to go to some of Kauai's many famous beaches for swimming. Lydgate Beach park is a nearby beach that is good for swimming.brbrSHOULD I GET A CAR brWe recommend that you have a rental car. The resort has most everything you need to have a wonderful time and relax. A car will allow you to experience many popular attractions, buying groceries, and going to many amazing restaurants etc.brbrIS THERE FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE AIRPORT brNo. The shuttle service from the airport is not available to our guests.
