Located just 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta, and 2 hours from Greenville,S.C. , Lake Burton is the premier mountain lake destination of Georgia. brThis cozy renovated fishing retreat has lots of windows to view the beautiful lake from every room . The yard is fenced in and has six Adirondack chairs surrounding a large fire pit. There is also a comfy front porch with a large sofa and two arm chairs to view the sunsets. Inside, There are 2 queen size beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. Amenities include WiFi and Smart TV.brOur swim dock and boat house are designed for optimal lake enjoyment.The top of the boat house has a dining table and two sofas, and an umbrella to allow sun protection. The swim dock below is also equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas. We have recently added two paddle boards for our guest’s enjoyment. brRental rates are as posted on VRBO. There are discounts for extended stays. brDuring the summer months we require a week long rental with check in/check out on Sundays. Special rates and check ins apply to major holidays as well. brMinimum Nights Stay varies based on the season from 2 nights in the off season to 7 nights with a Sunday check in/check out date in the summer (see the calendar for available dates). The weekly rental requirement during the summer helps cut down on the wear and tear so we hope you understand. brSpecial holidays like Memorial Day ( 4 nights stay with a Thursday check in and Monday check out), Fourth of July ( weekly rental only) and Labor Day (4 nights stay with a Thursday check in and Monday Check out) have their own rules and rates. Happy times at our little Lake Burton cabin with a private dock. 100 steps from the deck lands you on the private dock in one of the quietest coves on the lake. Wonderful outside deck gives way to a large screened porch perfect for coffee and board games. The great room boast a fireplace and dining enough for 8! brbrPrivate dock at the end of driveway with room for your boat. Love the safe cove for kayaking and swimming. My sons have caught plenty of fish too!
