The pool will not begin heating again until the air temperature rises above 35°F, and in colder conditions it may take most or all of the day to reach the target temperature. In these conditions, the pool will not maintain the target temperature of 82–85°F. As a result, there may be only a short window of comfortable swimming, even though the full heating fee still applies.br**Pool heating during colder months is highly weather dependent, and in some cases, heating the pool during this time may simply not be worthwhile.br**In our experience, a heated pool in winter is usually more of a novelty for kids—our own kids will happily jump in even on chilly days.
