The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. brbrFinally, one thing to know about this part of 30A (and specifically this location where Dream by the Sea is situated) is that it is not over-crowded like most of 30A. A lot of this has to do with this particular part of 30A which mostly has large private homes along the beach and no high-rise condominiums. The direct beach access closest to us does not offer public parking or even room for golf carts to park, so it keeps most of the beach traffic at a minimum and causes it to go to other more crowded access points. Note that golf cart rental is not necessary for getting to this beach access since we are so close.
