North-side shoulder parking along 30A is typically available a bit closer to this access point. It is tucked into a residential area and offers a more direct walk onto the sand with no boardwalk or stairs. There is a public parking lot about 100 yards from the access, making it a great choice for unloading beach gear and passengers. Parking is limited, so arriving earlier in the day is recommended.
