Very cool house and well designed/furnished.

Everything about the property was great. Very clean with modern appliances. My only gripe is the tv in the living room. Trying to figure out and use the remote and apps was very difficult. Other than that, the house was great.

We rode our bikes to the beach every day, had coffee and breakfast burritos from the coffee shop right up the rode, 1 minute bike ride to the convenient store. Took an uber into seaside etc. Highly recommend this adorable home. The design is beautiful - the laundry room was gorgeous! I agree with some of the reviews about the sand on the floors. The floors are gorgeous but you can't see the sand when you sweep so it makes sense to have a vacuum and/or way more rugs instead. Wasn't an issue though because, well, you are at the beach and there will be sand :)

The house is in a wonderful location that is convenient to everything Grayton has to offer. It appears to be recently remodeled and furnished with comfortable furniture and stylish decorations. We definitely plan on coming back and renting it again in the future!

Reviewer Comments: The location was great access to the beach was just a short walk down the street and while the public beaches to the east were very busy the access to the park beaches to the west were almost “private”. The house had a ton of character and the mid century beach cottage vibe was great. Overall we loved the stay with only a few caveats that honestly were not deal breakers but need to be pointed out. The house has great looking floors that fit the character but they could use to be refinished so when you are there the floors quickly feel very dirty and there is nothing to clean the floors with they had a swifter but no pads for it a small vacuum or mop would be helpful we ended up having to wear shoes then would wipe off our feet before getting in bed every night. The single bathroom is small but that was expected but it had holes in the wall and by the window the shower head was extremely low for most men of average height and had almost no pressure. Additionally when we arrived there was quite a bit of debris on the floors including what appeared to be piles of dog hair. All this is to just help future renters we still really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if if we’re fitting but would bring cleaning supplies.

When making your decision, factor in that the bathroom is terribly small. We had serious internet issues which would unfortunately keep us from selecting this location again - we usually have some work to do while on vacation. The front windows/view are what make the house and they were very dirty - this may be outside of the mgmt. company's duties, but the owners need to factor this in. We ended up cleaning them ourselves to have a clear view for the week. Giving a 5 for cleanliness but that doesn't include the windows. Sheet pans needs to be replaced (rusted) and no drip coffee maker or toaster. Vacuum cleaner needed to be able to keep the floors clean.

This 2 bedroom/1 bath is wonderful! The mid-century vibe makes it really fun to stay here. Someone with great taste spent time and money on creating an eye-catching, comfortable and colorful retreat! It is fresh and super clean and the beds were comfy. If you’re looking for smaller accommodations, I highly recommend this one.

We had the perfect stay in Grayton Beach! We absolutely loved the beach cottage. It was located just down the street from the beach. We were able to ride our bikes there everyday and avoided the impossible task of finding parking. The house was absolutely adorable and beautifully decorated. The owners obviously put so much care and pride in restoring it. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was perfect for all the meals we made. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!
