You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. The spa and pool cannot both be heated at the same time, only one or the other can be heated at a time (so if the pool is heating, the spa cannot be heated and vice versa). brbrbrbrThe spa/hot tub is controlled virtually by the owner. Please let us know what time you would like to get in the spa (request 24 hours in advance) so we can begin pre-heating it for you. Once it reaches temp (99 degrees) the hot tub will run for 3 hours and then switch back to heating/circulating the pool to keep it from turning green. Lighthouse - Heated Pool & Firepit! Near Amphitheatre, Historic Downtown, Beach

Our Lighthouse & Beach Retreat is located 5 minutes drive from the beach, 7 minutes drive from downtown St Augustine, and a short bike ride to the amphitheater, this 4 bedroom 2 baths beach-side home with a pool is close to everywhere you want to be. Terracotta tile throughout. The house has one large smart TV located in the living room and another tv in the master bedroom. brbrCentrally located to beach, amphitheater, lighthouse, downtown, and 312. Everything is within biking distance. Large L shaped lap pool, NOT fully screened. Great kid and pet friendly neighborhood. Older established street with lots of shade trees.brbrThe pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled.brbrThe history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins! brbrThe St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!brbrPets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house. brbrThe cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.brbrIf you have a large family and need a second location please inquire with the host about our other property that is nearby.brbrWe don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. There are several active and welcoming churches in the Lincolnville Historic District, one of which can be seen from the front of the cottage, so close that you can clearly hear the choir on Sunday from the porch. There are four (4) restaurants in the Lincolnville Historic District- The Blue Hen; the Ice Plant Bar; The Preserved; and Crave Food Truck. Lincolnville was a victim of redlining by the Federal Government and the private sector, the evidence of which still exists to this day. I encourage anyone who is not familiar with the practice of redlining to probe the subject. Bear in mind that St. Augustine is over 450 years old, and every neighborhood in Downtown St. Augustine has buildings that are in disrepair and could use a bit of work, including Lincolnville. If you don't wish see buildings that are architecturally contributing while perhaps in need of a little or a lot of work, then Lincolnville, or other neighborhoods Downtown, may not be the correct fit for you. Lincolnville in particular is experiencing a period of revitalization, so don't allow the derelict architecturally contributing buildings deter you from the rich history that the neighborhood and Downtown have to offer.brbrI live close to my rental property, and am available 24/7 to respond to any issues or concerns.brbrAs your host, you can expect that I will NOT come onto the property unannounced. The only exception could be when I pull the trash and recycling carts to the street for collection. Trash is collected on Tuesday, and recycling on Friday.
