Our cottage is a one story residence set back from the quiet street, with a screened in back porch for sitting and eating and a back patio ideal for enjoying the warm Florida sunshine. A gas grill is provided in the back yard for outdoor cooking. The backyard is fenced for the safety of our four-legged guests. Off street parking for two cars in driveway is provided. Inside, the floors are hardwood with area rugs for comfort. The high ceiling in the living/dining room gives a feeling of spaciousness. Ample seating is provided with two sofas and an easy chair for socializing, watching the 43 TV, or using the wireless connected internet. The dining area has seating for six. Separating the dining area from the kitchen is a raised counter with bar stools, making it a great place to get together with family and friends. The kitchen has counter space and cabinets with appliances including a range, microwave, ice machine, refrigerator and dishwasher. Amenities provided include a coffeemaker, toaster. dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, and cutlery. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins! brbrThe St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed!
