Because this part of Indialantic beach is so private, we find our guests love it! brbrFlorida is perfect to enjoy year round outdoor activities. With over 109 space launches scheduled for 2026, you are sure to have the best view for watching one of the Space Coasts amazing launches. Nothing in the world compares to the unbelievable view and dynamic sounds of watching a live launch directly from the beach. It is a once in a lifetime experience for sure! brbrWalk on the beach, rent E-Bikes, beach cruisers or a golf cart. Golf, pickleball, tennis and numerous public parks are close by. Book sailing and charter cruises to view the dolphin, manatee and other wildlife. Sport fishing charters are available out of Sebastian, just a 30 minute drive from Endless Summer, and Air Boat Rides are available through the everglades at Camp Holly Airboat Rides also about 30 minutes away. Sea turtles are seen on a regular basis laying their eggs and babies hatching during the season. Another once in a life time event you won't want to miss. brbrThe town of Indialantic sits east of the city of Melbourne, and just north of Melbourne Beach. This quaint little Town features what some call the most pristine beach on the east coast of Florida. With lots of shells and sea glass, and beautiful white sand, the beach is wide and perfect for long romantic walks, sand castle building and beach cycling. During turtle season, May through October, sea turtles nest right outside our back door. The Sea Turtle Preservation Society is just a mile away from Endless Summer. Whether you are looking for fine dining like Juliette's, Scotts on Fifth, Djon's Steak and Lobster House, Cafe Coconut Cove (family owned German restaurant on the river), Islands Fish Grill (fresh local fish), the Chart House, a local rooftop bar and restaurant at the Village Market, or the best breakfast in town from the Beachside Cafe, it is all close by. Starbucks, Moo's Soft Serve ice cream, Oceanside Pizza and Bizzaros Pizza are all local favorites that you can walk to as well. Spessard Holland is a public golf course just 3 miles south of our unit. E-Bike rentals are available at Tedsebikes.com, bicycle rentals are available just a few blocks north at Bob's Beach Bicycle Works and golf cart rentals are available in Indian Harbour Beach at Gorilla Rides. For those of you who want to try your hand at fishing off the beach shoreline, there are inexpensive bait stores close by. brbrFor your traveling convenience, the local Melbourne airport is approximately 5 miles from Endless Summer. If you can get lower airfares flying in and out of Orlando, the Orlando International Airport is about a one hour drive, with very little traffic. brbrThe Brevard Zoo is a wonderful experience for both children and adults, and you will also want to visit the public piers in Melbourne Beach, and Indialantic, to check out the Indian River. If you are lucky you may see some manatee or dolphins during your visit there. The Sebastian Inlet is also a great place to visit, it is about 18 miles south on A1A, and is a gorgeous, relaxing drive. You won't want to miss the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, about 35 miles away from Endless Summer. brbrFor those of you who would like to visit Disney and the many theme parks in Orlando, or do some shopping at the fabulous Mall of Millennia, or the numerous outlet stores, it is a short drive, just about an hour and a half. brbrWe look forward to booking your vacation with us, and want to remind you that we are a NON-smoking rental. As you enter the palm-lined driveway you discover a small cottage – perhaps left behind from a group previously stranded here It looks as though they gathered things they could find on this island to construct a cozy and comfortable living space.brbrThe main living space of the cottage has a hand-made driftwood sign with the name “Crusty Crab.” In here you find a brand-new fully equipped kitchen (maybe a ship carrying kitchen furnishings dropped some of its cargo ) with all the appliances and dishes needed for fixing meals. It also appears that a beautiful large sofa washed ashore, and it contains a queen-size sleeper. Somehow these clever folks also found a brand new 55” OLED TV to keep them occupied during their stay on the island.brbrDown the hall you find “Coquina Cliff” - a full bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Apparently these previous guests found some clever way to get running water from some hidden spring on the island!brbrIn the back of the cottage you find two bedrooms. One bears the name “Coral Cabana.” Here you find a “tree house” with beds to sleep up to three people, along with wall decorations that some previous guests must have found on the beach. The other bedroom is aptly named “Coconut Cove” – the queen-size bed is surrounded by decorations featuring coconuts and palm trees, including a TV in the hidden palm cabinet.brbrWhile this amazing little cottage does not have a direct view of the beach, it is located on the beachfront property. By following a private trail on the north side of the other house on the property you may walk directly onto the beach (without crossing any road). A quaint beach community with a dog beach and two public beach parks with lifeguards within one mile. Many great beach shops, restaurants, parks - a quiet but fun area safe for the whole family.brbrYou will have direct access to the beach by using the private path on the north side of Salty Dog house. However, you will NOT have access to the back yard, hot tub and tiki hut -- those areas are for the private use of Salty Dog renters.brbrWelcome to “Castaway Cottage!” Your journey begins as you find yourself marooned on an uncharted island. As you enter the palm-lined driveway you discover a small cottage – perhaps left behind from a group previously stranded here It looks as though they gathered things they could find on this island to construct a cozy and comfortable living space.brbrThe main living space of the cottage has a hand-made driftwood sign with the name “Crusty Crab.” In here you find a brand-new fully equipped kitchen (maybe a ship carrying kitchen furnishings dropped some of its cargo ) with all the appliances and dishes needed for fixing meals. It also appears that a beautiful large sofa washed ashore, and it contains a queen-size sleeper. Somehow these clever folks also found a brand new 55” OLED TV to keep them occupied during their stay on the island.brbrDown the hall you find “Coquina Cliff” - a full bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Apparently these previous guests found some clever way to get running water from some hidden spring on the island!brbrIn the back of the cottage you find two bedrooms. One bears the name “Coral Cabana.” Here you find a “tree house” with beds to sleep up to three people, along with wall decorations that some previous guests must have found on the beach. The other bedroom is aptly named “Coconut Cove” – the queen-size bed is surrounded by decorations featuring coconuts and palm trees, including a TV in the hidden palm cabinet.brbrWhile this amazing little cottage does not have a direct view of the beach, it is located on the beachfront property. By following a private trail on the north side of the other house on the property you may walk directly onto the beach (without crossing any road).
