Stylish Apartment in Falmouth, nr Seafront

Falmouth, England, United Kingdom

Summary:brbrExplore a delightful apartment in Falmouth, just moments from the waterfront and the heart of town. This chic apartment features modern interiors, a private entrance for added privacy, and boasts an ideal location close to a variety of shops, restaurants, and traditional pubs. Benefit from convenient free parking nearby, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable visit.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrStep inside this beautifully renovated apartment and discover a true hidden gem, designed to offer a comfortable and stylish retreat. The inviting open-plan living space is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, while the stylish kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. Thoughtful details like brass handles, a brass tap, and open shelving with unique crockery create a welcoming 'home away from home' atmosphere. brbrbrbrThe apartment features a bright and airy master bedroom with a double bed and ample storage. For additional guests, a double sofa bed is available in the living area. The modern bathroom features a refreshing shower. Ideally located, the apartment is a short walk from Gyllyngvase Beach (15 minutes) and Swanpool (20 minutes). Enjoy easy access to Falmouth's best restaurants, shops, and pubs (5 minutes). brbrbrbrFree on-street parking is available, making it easy to explore Falmouth's coastal walks, art galleries, and vibrant live music scene on foot.brbrbrbrGuest Access:brbrGuests have access to the whole apartment. It is all on one level and there are no stairs inside the apartment.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrThis lovely apartment has the best of both worlds: you're located within the leafy suburbs of Falmouth, whilst still within walking distance of the town's vibrant centre. Within moments, you could be enjoying an afternoon tea or delicious dinner at the renowned Greenbank Hotel or enjoying a stroll along the water's edge. Some of the town's best pubs are all within a walking distance too, from the Ferry Boat Inn to the Star & Garter. The bustling town centre is a short stroll away, around 5 minutes, and here you will find a brilliant selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as convenience stores. Some of our favourite eateries include MINE and IndiDog as well as Verdant Seafood Bar and Bodega. Falmouth is a colourful town with lots to offer!brbrbrbrThere is so much to explore in the local area. A ferry from the nearby harbour takes you over to the stunning St Mawes, which is well-known for its superb foodie ties and historic castle. Keep an eye out for dolphins too, who are known to make their appearance alongside the boats! The coastline between Flushing and Restronguet Passage is a real local's secret, with the stunning Carrick Roads and Restronguet Creek. One of the best walks is from Mylor Bridge, following the coast path to the Pandora Inn - it's one of the prettiest spots for a beer this side of the Tamar. The historic thatched pub sits on the river, with a big jetty filled with picnic tables and a view of people paddling and crabbing in the water. brbrbrbrA short drive from Falmouth is the lesser-known Trebah Gardens, a tropical paradise tucked away against a coastal backdrop. The beautiful 26 acre Cornish valley garden has over four miles of footpaths where you can explore canopies bursting with exotic blooms and vibrant tunnels of colour. Finish your day with a stop off at the fantastic Ferry Boat Inn, which overlooks the Helford Passage and offers superb seafood. Or make a stop at Polgwidden Cove – the private and secluded beach, which backs onto the Helford River.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrDue to the remote nature of Cornwall, we would usually advise bringing a car for your stay. However, as the apartment is located in central Famouth it benefits from great travel connections. Trains run into the centre of town which are available all the way from London Paddington. There is also a good bus network to connect you with the wider area, as well as ample taxis.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrWe kindly ask that noise levels, including TV and music, are kept to a minimum after 10pm to respect our neighbours. Thank you for your cooperation. brbrbrbrWe are happy to welcome one well-behaved dog for an extra fee of £20. Please ensure your dog does not go on the furniture and is not left alone in the apartment.

Chy En Glas

Falmouth, England, United Kingdom

Summary:brbrA rare harbour-view townhouse in one of Falmouth’s most iconic positions, with far-reaching views towards the Roseland Peninsula and a beautifully tiered garden designed for indoor-outdoor living.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrSet across four storeys, the house pairs historic character with a carefully curated, high-end interior that feels calm, cohesive and genuinely special. It’s ideal for groups who want space and flexibility: five bedrooms in total, including a private, self-contained ground-floor setup with its own kitchen and living space (all on one level), plus multiple reception rooms so everyone can spread out when they want to.brbr brbrAt its heart is a vaulted open-plan kitchen-diner flowing into a light-filled orangery and out onto the patio, with further garden terraces above for sunset dinners overlooking the harbour. Add high-speed internet throughout the house and garden, super king and king-size bedrooms, and an unbeatable walkable location close to the waterfront and town, and you have a standout base for an elevated Cornwall stay.brbrbrbrThere are a few houses in Falmouth that make you stop for a second when you arrive. This is one of them.brbrbrbrSet on a historic terrace above the harbour and Royal Yacht Club, the house feels calm, considered and effortlessly comfortable, with a carefully curated interior and beautiful details that carry throughout. It’s a home that invites slow mornings, long meals, and that lovely feeling of being together, without ever feeling on top of each other.brbrbrbrThe layout is brilliant for multi-generational stays and mixed groups. In total there are five bedrooms: four within the main house (including one with an en suite), plus a flexible ground-floor bedroom within a self-contained setup that has its own kitchen and living space, all on one level. It’s ideal for anyone wanting a little more privacy and independence, or for guests who’d prefer fewer stairs.brbrbrbrAt the heart of the home is a beautiful open-plan kitchen and dining space with a vaulted ceiling, designed for easy, sociable living. This flows into a bright orangery/conservatory with additional dining space, opening straight onto the patio so indoor-outdoor living feels effortless on warmer days.brbrbrbrThere’s also an additional living room on the first floor, perfectly positioned to soak up the views over the harbour and out towards Flushing, St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula, a peaceful spot for a book, a film night, or simply watching the boats come and go.brbrbrbrOutside, the garden is tiered and established, with a different perspective at each level: patio seating, lawned areas, and a further outdoor dining space at the top where the views really open up. It’s a gorgeous place to gather everyone together, especially as the sun drops and the harbour turns gold.brbrbrbrHigh-speed internet runs throughout the house and into the garden. Bedrooms are super king and king-sized, with a twin room that can be set up as a super king (zip-and-link) on request. There’s also a separate utility space in the basement, handy for longer stays and all the beach-day logistics.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrYou’re right in the heart of historic Falmouth, perched above one of the most beautiful natural harbours in the world. The waterfront is moments away, with the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club just below and the town’s sailing life playing out in front of you, especially in summer when you’ll often spot racing on the water.brbrbrbrHead up into town and you’ll find Falmouth’s mix of independent shops, galleries, artisan bakeries, pubs, and brilliant places to eat. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is close by on the harbourside, and the whole area has that lively, coastal energy that still feels relaxed and walkable.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrFalmouth is easy to explore on foot from here: the waterfront is a short stroll away, and the High Street is close enough for morning coffee runs and evenings out without needing the car.brbrbrbrIf you’re arriving by train, Falmouth has its own branch line connecting to Truro, where you can link up with mainline services. Driving in is straightforward too, and once you’re here you can dip in and out of town as you please, then retreat back to the peace and the views above the harbour.

The Captains Penwerris

Falmouth, England, United Kingdom

Summary:brbrA beautiful home on Penwerris Terrace with stunning sea views, just a short walk from Falmouth’s harbour, beaches and town centre. Light, spacious and thoughtfully set up, it’s perfect for relaxed coastal stays. Enjoy mornings overlooking the water, easy access to everything Falmouth has to offer, plus the added benefits of a private garden and parking — a rare and ideal combination in such a central location.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrA calm, elevated home with proper panoramic sea views, where you can walk into town in minutes, dip down to the water for an early sea swim, and still come back to a quiet street that feels a world away from the bustle.brbrMornings start slowly with coffee and coastline. Days are for harbour wandering, beach time, long lunches and little local finds. Evenings are for coming home, opening a bottle, and gathering everyone around the table, with the luxury of space when you want it, thanks to both a sociable open plan living area and a separate second lounge for quieter moments.brbrbrbrWith four bedrooms sleeping seven, three bathrooms, an enclosed garden with dedicated outdoor dining and seating, and driveway parking for up to four cars, it’s set up for easy, comfortable stays with families and mixed groups. And because you’re just a couple of minutes from the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and a short stroll from the high street, the harbour and the beaches, you get that rare mix of convenience and calm, the best of Falmouth on your doorstep, and your own peaceful retreat waiting above it all.brbrbrbrTHE SPACE brbrPerched above Falmouth like a quiet lookout, The Captain’s Penwerris sits among the town’s historic harbour view terraces, streets once chosen by Packet Ship captains for the outlook and the sense of arrival. The views stretch across the coastline towards Flushing, St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula, and the light changes the whole scene hour by hour, from crisp mornings to honeyed evenings.brbrInside, everything is geared towards togetherness without compromise. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space is where the holiday happens, breakfast chats, shared cooking, big dinners, and the easy sprawl of a group stay. When you want a softer pace, the separate living room gives you a second setting, quieter, calmer, and perfect for a film, a book, or a breather while the main space stays lively.brbrThe four bedrooms sleep seven across two king rooms, one superking which can be arranged as twins on request, and a small double, with three bathrooms to keep mornings simple. Outside, the enclosed garden is made for lingering, with a separate outdoor dining area and a sitting space for long, slow evenings. At the rear of the property there’s driveway parking for up to four cars. From the driveway there are steps leading down into the garden, so it’s worth bearing in mind when unloading bags or if anyone in your group prefers completely level access, if mobility is limited, you can arrive via the front of the property instead, which avoids the garden steps.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrThis is one of Falmouth’s most sought after pockets, elevated, characterful and quietly prestigious, with a real sense of history in the surrounding terraces. The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club is just a couple of minutes away, and you’re perfectly placed for harbour walks, boat watching, and those simple rituals that make a coastal stay feel instantly restorative, including early morning sea swims when the water’s calling.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrFalmouth is at its best at walking pace, and from here it’s wonderfully easy. The high street is around a five to ten minute stroll away, with the harbour, beaches and waterfront all within easy reach too, close enough for spontaneous plans, yet far enough that home still feels peaceful when you return. If you’re heading further afield across Cornwall, having parking at the house makes day trips effortless, but you may find once you arrive you can happily park up and forget the car.
