There is plenty of room around the dining table for 10 and also a breakfast bar to seat 4. From the kitchen you can access the garden, which has a large decked area with table and chairs perfect for bbqs and sunset suppers. There are also areas to hang out and read a book amongst the tropical foliage.brbrThe living room offers a cosy comfortable place to chill and put your feet up. There is a tv along with books and a few games for all ages.brbrThere is also a small conservatory and a courtyard outside the backdoor which is a great area for all your holiday gear. You will enjoy a comfortable stay in Lower Deck, a large self contained basement apartment within a Grade 11 listed property. brThe apartment is a 10 minute level walk from Falmouth town centre with its independent shops and a great choice of restaurants, pubs and bars. The beaches are a ten minute walk in the other direction. The Maritime museum and Pendennis Castle are worth a visit. brAlso on the route of the South West Coast path and 5 minutes from the train station to Truro. brIf you like history you will be interested in the well that you are welcome to view. The Cornish range is one of a few that remain (a feature, so not in use) Also the period bathroom with walk in shower.brI want to draw your attention to a few points so that you are aware of these prior to booking: There are steps down to the property, so it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. As it is a basement apartment there is limited light in the lobby area, and you may hear noise from upstairs as I live above with my family and two dogs. In 6 years of hosting this has not been an issue though.
