A battery smoke alarm at the bottom of the house is no good to those at the top of the house, if a fire were to start.brbrEnsuring all fire alarms are wired to a control panel and alarms sound in every sleeping room. (An alarm in the hall way is not helpful to those who have a hearing pediment).
