This includes many Joshua Trees, rabbits and coyotes, but also sharp cacti and rarely desert critters such as spiders, snakes and scorpions. Therefore, we ask that you practice caution while walking around the groundsbrbr❖ Dog owners agree to the following additional rules: br• To pay the pet fee $200. Maximum to 2 pets allowed.br• Outside the house, dogs should be leashed at all times. There are coyotes in the High Desert, which present danger to unleashed dogs. Cacti can also cause injuries to dogs. Dog owners bear full responsibility for the safety of their dogs.br• Owners must immediately pick up after their dogs and deposit waste in a plastic bag and place it in the garbage binbr• Dogs are not to be left unattended in the house at any time. In addition to our additional dog cleaning fee, we will deduct the costs of extra cleaning or repairs necessitated by the presence of your dog.brbr❖ Pool and Jacuzzi Heatingbr• Please let me know in advance if you'd like to use the pool heating.br• There is an additional per-night fee to heat the pool due to the amount of gas used by the heater. There is no charge to heat the jacuzzi. Below is the heating fee schedule for the pool:br • $150/night: May - Septemberbr • $200/night: October - April.br• The pool is not allowed to be heated above 88F even with the heating fee i.e. it's not to be used as a giant hot tub. If I find the temperature has been set above 88F I reserve the right to lower it and there may be even further charges because of the extensive energy costs required.br• There is a single heater used for both the pool and jacuzzi so only one can be actively heated at a time e.g. if you turn on the spa heating it will temporarily redirect heat from the pool while in-use. Our space is designed for comfort, relaxation, work, and play whether you're cooking in the fully outfitted kitchen, barbecuing in the patio eating area or stargazing while sitting around the firepit. brLayoutbrUpon walking in the front door, the kitchen wall is directly in front of you with a cozy entryway on the left with coat-hooks and the property guidebook. Directly across from the entryway is the main living room space with a sectional couch and seating area surrounding the smart television and bordered by books and games. There is an exterior door next to the living area that leads out to the garage; that wall also has the mini split unit with heating and AC. The dining area has a round table with four chairs that overlooks the backyard patio and then flows into the kitchen. The fully outfitted kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances and three walls of cabinet storage and two large counters to work with. The kitchen has pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cutlery, knives, mixing and serving bowls. There is a door at the end of the kitchen that leads to the backyard patio area.br brBackyard Patio LayoutbrThe shaded concrete patio has a metal table with four chairs and a propane-powered barbecue. There is also a metal firepit with a seating area to enjoy the night sky. The backyard sits along two untamed vacant lot with lots of cholla, yucca and jackrabbits.brbrBedrooms & Bathroom LayoutbrUpon entering back into the house from the patio, the bathroom is directly across from the kitchen patio door and the two bedrooms are adjacent. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a closet and mini-split unit. There are also additional bed linens and blankets for each bed. There is a small desk and chair providing an office nook in one bedroom. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination and full towel sets for four people are available in the bathroom cabinet. We also provide monthly cleaning services upon request.

You are a few minutes from town and down the road from the park entrance! Everything you could possibly need is at the house and for guests to use! Enjoy this updated home, BBQ, outdoor patio to watch the stars during these lovely spring evenings. The home has been newly remodeled with updated flooring, a bright kitchen and a spacious living area. There is heating, A/C, WIFI, and Roku enabled TVs. We also have books, movies and games so that you can enjoy the perfect evening in after a long day. This is a private smoke-free home. You will be sent a number code for the front door upon booking. Your code will be active ONLY during the time of your stay. The Kitchen: The dining table with 6 chairs, there is also a highchair in the master bedroom for your little one if needed. There is stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and granite countertops, pots/pans, utensils, glassware, table settings, dish towels, dishwasher detergent and soap. Other amenities include a French Press and drip coffee maker with Joshua Tree Coffee Company coffee, microwave oven and a small cooler for a picnic in the park. There is a trash can and recycle bin (under the sink). There are also maps and guides on the wall of things to do and places to visit that guest have left when they have stayed here. The Living Area: The Flat Screen TV is Roku enabled and has Hulu and Netflix ready for you to sign in and pick up your favorite show where you left off at home. There is also a DVD player with a handful of kid and non-kid friendly DVDs. The table by the front door has games, puzzles and toys for our guests to use while they are at the house. The Wifi is free and the TVs are on a different Wifi so your connection should not be slowed down by any of the house appliances. The Master Bedroom: The Master bedroom has a King Memory Foam Bed. There are luggage racks, the highchair in the closet. There are also extra pillows and blankets in the closet. The Flat Screen TV is Roku enabled. There are power strips on both sides of the bed and USB cords just in case you forgot yours. This bedroom also has an in-room AC unit. The Second Bedroom: The Second bedroom has a Queen Memory Foam Bed. There are also luggage racks and pillows in the closet. There are power strips on both sides of the bed and USB cords just in case you forgot yours. The Bathroom: There is one bathroom. We have fresh towels, hair dryer, curling iron, flat iron, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for you to use. The house has old plumbing and has a septic system. PLEASE do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Other Amenities: There is a wall heater and AC that will help for those colder winter days and warmer summer nights. The house also has a private patio & backyard, open space behind us with unobstructed views facing the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) Mountains, a BBQ with grilling set in the backyard, outdoor chairs and a private backyard. Please don’t use the in house utensils, pots and pans on the BBQ. The property has an exterior camera monitoring the exterior of the home. *If you are staying for longer than 7 days, you will have access to the garage where we have a washer, dryer and cleaning supplies that you can use during your stay. Parking: Please feel free to park in the driveway or on the street. Please don’t park on the dirt in front of the house. Guests will be able to access the entire home except for the garage. There is a keypad on the front door and the guest will be given their code 24 hours in advance of their stay. The code will work the entire time of their stay. If you plan on staying for longer than a week, we can give you access to the garage for access to the washer / dryer if needed. While I will not be at the house during your stay, feel free to contact me with any questions! There have maps, books and lots of info about the area at the house as well. I am available anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to guests via the Airbnb app. I also have co-host that lives in the area available for critical emergencies only, available 24/7. The house is walk-able to JT Village Restaurants, Music & Yoga. The local area has a Farmers Market on Weekends, hiking, yoga, art, music, festivals & much more! It's also a quick drive to Yucca Valley, Pioneer Town and Twentynine Palms. The village of Joshua Tree is walking distance from the house and driving around the village is incredibly easy. We are a 5-minute drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. In the winter, please set the temperature at 100 degrees a few hours before use. It takes much longer to heat with the cover off, so we suggest that you leave it on whenever it’s not in use. Please leave the remote hanging in the house.brbrFurniture:brPlease do not move any large furniture such as sofas, dining tables, beds, etc. This is only here because it happens more often than it should.brbrOutdoor Noise:brQuiet hours10:00PM (22:00) to 7:00AMbrWe love our neighbors – please be respectful of their space, and their privacy. brNo music outdoors in the evenings.brPlease be aware that we have a number of law enforcement officials that live in this area that are sensitive to noise level. The county is cracking down on short term rentals hosting parties and we want to be respectful of our neighbors. If you break this rule, there will be a $5,000.00 fine. brbrSmoking:brThere is NO SMOKING OR VAPING within the residence or within 10 feet of the residence.brbrOther Items:brCareful not to overload the toilets as they can plug up if too much is put in at once—we have a sensitive septic system. Wipes and feminine products need to go in the trash. Guests will be charged if a plumber has to be called.brbrbr brCHECK OUT BEFORE 10:00AMbrbrCHECK OUT PROCEDURE:br• Place the trash from the house and game room into the dumpster.br• Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it.br• Set hot tub back to 85 degrees and ensure it is covered.br• All items that came from the sunroom and garage must be returns.br• Please ensure that the garage is locked.br• If sleeper sofas were used, please leave them open for cleaning crew to wash linens.br• Please make sure when locking up the house that all windows and doors are locked, curtains and blinds are closed tight.br• Turn off all lights expect for the entry way light, which is on a motion sensor.br• Exit via the front door and press the key with the lock icon on it to lock. Check door is secured.brbrThe person accepting the rental agreement is the responsible party.
