The cabin is studio style and features 2 full beds, a kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with a sofa for relaxing. The kitchen provides a compact stove/oven, fridge, and microwave. A coffee maker and liners are also provided, just bring your favorite coffee! The kitchen provides minimal cookware, such as pots, mixing bowls, plates, cups and mugs, silverware, and cooking utensils.brGuest accessbrGuests are welcome to access the entire cabin and common grounds.brOther things to notebrThis particular cabin is a duplex. Quiet 3 Br/2 Bath Cabin on 1 Acre, in the Pines and Aspens with US forest access

A quiet 3 Bedroom, 2 Full bath, 1560 sq/ft, 2 floor cabin nestled in old pine/oak/aspen forest with US forest access for hiking at the rear of the property. Most phones have 3-4 bar service. We have Star Link Wi-Fi at the cabin, Sign in info will be on the refrigerator. The cabin is on a 1.1-acre parcel. Each bedroom has abrSerta Perfect Sleeper Queen bed. There is also a sleeper sofa in the great room (Queen) and a cot available. The cabin was built in 1968 and has that old warm cabin charm. We have a 55-inch Roku TV where you can sign into your streaming accounts. By putting in your check out date your accounts will automatically be signed out. Windows abound to view the forest and wildlife from wherever you sit. There is also a fire pit in the front yard and can be used if there are no fire restrictions. br There is a beautiful, covered porch in front with seating to enjoy your morning coffee with the hummingbirds (fill the feeders at a 4:1 water to sugar mix), deer, elk, squirrels, Stellar Jays and Woodpeckers. Quiet time on the front porch starts at 10pm please be respectful of our neighbors. FYI you are in the woods and there are lots of critters. We do have occasion to have a few spiders in the house it is unavoidable you are in the woods. We do spray for them and bomb under the house which keeps them down. br We will have a package of coffee, sugar and creamer for you (under most circumstances) below the coffee pot. We have a bumper pool table that “triples” as a card, and dining table. Pool balls are in the drawer by the sofa. In the mud room you will find a Foosball table for hours of fun with the washer and dryer. We have a propane BBQ! (Sorry due to fire risk the Treager smoker is for owner use only) The large dining table accommodates up to 10. br A wood burning stove in the kitchen provides quick heating along with a huge living room fireplace. There is also electric heat. Once warm, the cabin stays that way.br We have a washer and dryer on premises in the mud room. Please feel free to use them to wash your clothes or towels if needed. We have soap and dryer sheets all unscented. The machine is a High Efficiency and requires very little soap because our water is very soft and the machine can over suds. During cold months where freezing temperatures are expected the washer will be winterized and is not to be used. The freeze will break the pipes and pump in the washer. A note will be left on the washer door indicating it has been winterized. The dryer can be used though. there is a laundromat in town next to the Market. br Wildlife abounds in the area with several lakes are within a 15-minute drive for trout fishing. Hunters are welcome! The Black River also runs year-round for great fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. Alpine is an excellent area for cross country skiing or snow shoeing - so bring your gear. Toboggan Hill is just around the corner on Big Lake Road. There are a few sleds at the cabin under the porch along with some bicycles. We have a pump if the tires need air. br The cabin has many board games, cards, poker chips, horseshoe pit, Tetherball, Foose Ball table, soccer ball and a giant Jenga for playing with the whole family as well a huge collection of videos to watch. There are other games in the front deck bin. Please put away when done.br The cabin, being built in 1968 is a little noisy and sound does travel. Fans are in each room for circulation and noise reduction. We have just put new laminated flooring in, and it is beautiful! The bedrooms have skylights with shutters if you like it dark. br The cabin does get mice it is unavoidable. If one is found in the trap, please throw the mouse and trap away.br NO PETS ALLOWED!br Smoking and vaping are allowed outside only. (During extreme fire danger please smoke in the car) Please do not throw your butts in the yard it could cause a fire. A coffee can painted red on the porch will be provided. Please empty it prior to leaving. No Vaping is allowed in the house. Quiet Time starts at 10pm. Neighbors sleep with the windows open so we ask you to keep it quiet at that time so that you do not disturb their sleep.br We are on a septic system so please do not put anything but toilet paper in the toilet; feminine hygiene products (tampons) condoms or wet wipe do not go in the toilet. These products do not break down and will cause a backup.br There is no recycling in Alpine, if you wish to recycle bring it home with you please. On Tuesday evening bring all your trash to the blue trash can along the driveway. Then place the can on the road so it can be picked up on Wednesday. After picking up please replace the trash can back to where you found it. Thank you! br The driveway is not real steep, but it is long. If you are renting in the winter and the driveway needs to be plowed due to high snow, then the fee for plowing of the driveway is $150 each time the driveway needs to be plowed. 4-wheel drive is also recommended during the winter. We are not responsible if you cannot get up to the house due to snow and ice.

The stylish copper sink is a great choice because of its antimicrobial properties. You'll also find a full-sized washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen. Just beside the kitchen is a lovely bar area with a wine fridge and another charming copper sink. This is where we relax and enjoy coffee and drinks at the bar. The back patio, easily accessible from the kitchen, is ideal for grilling with our Weber charcoal grill.brbrThe master bedroom is downstairs, with a loft featuring a queen bed upstairs. Access the loft via a fully secure wooden ladder! The loft isn’t enclosed, so please keep that in mind when booking.brbrOur location is in Tal Wi Wi, just four miles north of Alpine, at an elevation of 8,200 feet. Tal Wi Wi has its own restaurant and lodge. Be sure to stop by Long Shadow and enjoy their patio. Alpine offers many excellent dining options; The Foxfire restaurant—definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a nice dinner, pizza, or lively night dancing to a live country band! The Bear Wallow serves an amazing country breakfast and was featured on television for its homemade pies! The Alpine Grill is open from morning till night and also hosts live bands.brbrAre you into fishing streams or lakes That’s why we chose this spot—to enjoy the widest variety! Primitive fire pit for making s'mores and telling camp stories (if no fire restrictions).brCabin itself is board-and-batten and stone with classic metal roof creating the perfect homey cabin. Covered breezeway. Covered front porch. Back porch with railing spans the entire back side of the cabin with picnic tables and a propane barbeque grill to enjoy the scenery and beautiful weather. The Coues Cabin has one master bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with 2 full size beds and futon, additional sleeping is also offered downstairs on the living room sofa bed. There is one primary bathroom with a full bathtub/shower and a 1/2 bath located upstairs. There is a tv located in each sleeping area and the living space to add to your entertainment, the Wi-Fi password will be provided upon check in. brbrThe Area:brDon't forget your hiking boots, fishing poles, boats, side by sides and snowboards as Alpine is one of the most beautiful places to explore in Arizona. We are only a couple miles away from the best local restaurants, bars and stores to give your trip the convenience you desire. If being outdoors is your thing, we are located 5 minutes from Luna Lake or 25 min from Big Lake where you can enjoy some fishing and a nice picnic. Want to take your adventures a little further, we are less than an hour away from Sunrise Ski Resort or an hour and 15 minutes from the White Mountain Family Fun Park. Each Main Cabin bathroom has granite counter tops with granite shower surrounds. For larger parties, we do offer the basement which has 2 additional bedrooms and can sleep 10 additional guests: 2 bedrooms - bedroom 5 (King, Twin bunk/trundle bed) and bedroom 6 (1 King and one full bed) and a 1 3/4 bathroom and living room sofa bed ($50.00 additional per night Property Fee).
