Beautiful view of the lake from this 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house on Lake Mckenzie. Full kitchen, living room and a dinning room upstairs that looks out over the lake. Treat yourself to a morning coffee on the second floor deck and listen to the loons! The upstairs has an propane fireplace to sit near and watch the lake. The downstairs has another living area and 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside, enjoy a fire on the large patio and enjoy the evening lake life. brThe dock extends about 120 feet into the lake where the water is still only about 4 feet deep! Great for lounging, swimming or just relaxing on the sand bar! A boat lift and pontoon lift are ready for you if you bring your own toys. Catch sunfish in the summer right off the dock! The lake is a great fishing lake with Walleye, Bass, Northern, Panfish, Perch and Muskie.brThe Master Bedroom comes with a king size pillowtop mattress. The other 3 bedrooms are all queen sized memory foam beds.brThe upstairs bathroom comes with a jetted tub for a relaxing soak after a great day out in the sun!brThere is no bad season to visit the lake! The summers are hot with a great escape into the lake. The fall is cool and quiet. Enjoy a fire or grilling a meal while the fall colors take over the lake. Winter is quiet and relaxing. The fireplace is warm and cozy with a coffee and a blanket with lake views! Many people ice fish and have great success. The spring warms up and the ice recedes. Put your feet up in our relaxing 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family cabin. The master has a king size bed, ensuite, and walk-in closet, while the other two bedrooms feature queen size beds, dressers, and closets for your use. You will find the kitchen fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, and a gas range. A dishwasher offers convenient clean up. No need to worry if you get dirty playing outside, there is a washer and dryer. Wi-fi and Direct TV IS available (May-October), but you don’t have to tell the kids. Central air will keep everyone cool on those hot summer days.brbrEnjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front deck as the sun rises, then an evening cocktail on the rear deck as you watch a picturesque sunset over the lake. You will find a large level yard for hours of outdoor games and family fun. Steps lead you down to the lake where the dock is in from May until October. Spend a peaceful afternoon fishing, or sit in your yard chair watching the kids splash and swim in the lake. In the evening you can enjoy a crackling fire as you listen for the call of the resident loons. There is a public boat launch about ¼ of a mile from the cabin.brbrWhen you don’t want to cook, there are many area restaurants catering to everyone’s tastes, from Friday night fish fry’s or pizza, to great grilled burgers and ribs. You can find adventure on the nearby ATV/snowmobile trails or relax on the beautiful golf courses. There truly is something for everyone. A short 10 minute drive will lead you to go kart racing and mini-golf, scenic northern Wisconsin train rides, canoeing and tubing down the Namekagon river, or small town shopping. Venture a little further to find activities such as hiking the north shore near a waterfall or horseback riding. Snowshoeing and hiking at the cabin await you if you prefer to stay close. Throughout the year there are several area festivals and activities to enjoy. In July you will find excitement at the Spooner Rodeo and parade. In August you can cheer on the lumberjacks as they compete at the Jack Pine Savage Days. February brings the world renowned cross country ski race, the Birkibeiner. A short drive north you will find the Grandma’s Marathon in June, and the Whistlestop Marathon in October. The Main Cabin sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 bedrooms. There are a total of 3 beds in the main cabin - One King Size and 2 Queen Size. brThe Guest House sleeps up to 4, but there are only two bedrooms, so 4 people share two queen size beds, and one King Size Bed.br====================================================================== Note: The Owner’s live adjacent to the property in a separate residence.br======================================================================brThere is also a 2 bedroom guest house on the property. The guest house is above the garage in a separate building from the main cabin but also has a, 24 by 20 grand room full kitchen, full bath, and two bedrooms with 1 king size bed in one room, and 2 queen size beds in the other bedroom.brbrWe rent to one group at a time so you have more privacy during your stay.brbrOwner's are available on request but give guests maximum privacy at the cabins.brbrAverage Base Pricing Per Night Is as follows:brPEAK SEASON: JUNE - SEPT $425 BOTH CABINS ( Minimum Stay- 6 Nights. )brNote: These base prices do not include state sales taxes, cleaning fees or VRBO’s Fees.br======================================================================brbrPets: The option for allowing pets is turned off for our site.br If you want to bring pets you must discuss this with the owners.br The cost is $40 per night per pet with a ( Maximum 1 pet )brbrIn the photo above, the main cabin is one the left side of the photo.brThe guest house is on the far right above the garage. brThe main cabin has all new modern updates including appliances, bathrooms and kitchens. The pricing is ALL INCLUSIVE ( Meaning the use of our 40 ft. dock is included in the daily rates ). You can bring your own boat, use the public landing two blocks away, and use our dock for no extra cost. brFirewood on site is free. ( 1 wheelbarrow per day )brWe have a propane Weber Grill for guests use free. Includes Propane.brWe have a 3 seat canoe for use on our lake.brThis property is situated on beautiful Lower McKenzie Lake in Washburn County Wisconsin. The property and lake are in the middle of Washburn County Forest. We are also surrounded by dozens of other lakes, and the beautiful Namekagon River ( Howell Landing ) is only 4 miles from our property. Canoeing, kayaking, inner tubing and swimming are favorite pastimes on the river. brFishing is excellent on Lower Mckenzie Lake and surrounding lakes in winter and summer. brWe are on a sandy beach, excellent swimming, with a private dock for your boat. The dock and swimming area separated by over 100 ft of shoreline. brThe public boat landing is only a 1/4 mile from our home by water and only 2 miles by land. If you want to bring your own boat / pontoon we have a 60 ft dock with plenty of room to keep your boat at our cabin. There are several boat rentals nearby where you can rent pontoons, fishing boats, kayaks, and canoes. Informations on this is in the amenities section on this website. brWe are surrounded by thousands of acres of Washburn County Forest with 100's of miles of trails for hiking, cycling, snowmobiling and for ATV's. You can leave your cars/trucks at our cabin and access the trails directly from our land. Snowmobiling and X-country skiing are also are legally accessible from our land. There are many bars and restaurants along the trails. Maps for the ATV trails and snowmobiling are at the cabin. We are at the border of Washburn and Burnett counties. Maps and other local attractions are available at the county websites to help you plan for your trip.brWe've had exceptional reviews since we started renting in June of 2016. brOur 2017 through 2020 seasons have been exceptional. We already have reservations for this winter and next summer. We had several repeat customers this year so demand is very strong.brIf you are interested in renting - book now! You have the option of canceling and receiving a 100% refund up to 30 days in advance of your check in date. brbrIf you are looking for peace and quiet close to nature, you will definitely find it here. We have a sauna in the main house. There's a fire pit near the lake where our guests hang out anytime of the day or night The fire pit is a great place for guests to barbecue, fish, and swim. The shoreline here is sandy and the water level is safe for small children. brThe fishing is excellent right from our shoreline, but you can get out on the lake on and explore other fishing hot spots on our lake. brbrIce fishing is also very popular, and guests love the easy access to the lake directly from our property. Sunrises and sunsets are amazing on most days. Nights are cool and quiet. The air is fresh and clean, and there is the sound of Loons and other wild life during evening and early morning hours. brOur property is completely private. There are no cabins visible on either side of us, and there is never any automobile traffic for miles around us because we are on a dead end road. Very safe for families with young children.
