There are four bedrooms, two located in the main cabin with king sized beds. There is a loft with TV and two twin pull-out chairs, a couch, and a futon. Also in the main cabin are one bathroom with tub/shower, a well equipped kitchen, and cozy family/dining room with a wood burning fireplace for the colder months. Vaulted ceilings with beautiful old log cabin charm and a screened in porch and deck. There is even a bench on the porch that converts to a bed for the more adventurous sleeper! Gorgeous views of the lake through the red and white pines.brbrIn the annex addition, accessed by the screened in porch, you will find the third and fourth bedrooms. One bedroom with a queen bed and another with two twin beds and one bunk bed. In addition, the second full bathroom with shower contains a washer and dryer. brbrAmenities include the use of 3 paddle boards and 2 kayaks in order to explore the 250 acre lake with it's multiple bays to fish or observe the abundant wildlife. Here a 520-foot trestle crosses the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway into Minnesota. Built on a former railroad corridor, the trail is named for the work crews who laid the railroad tracks. The crews used tools made by the Gandy Tool Company of Chicago and were known to work by keeping their voices, feet and tools in harmony, leading them to be called Gandy Dancers.

The lodge has been updated and remodeled, while maintaining its fantastic charm and many original details.brbrThe air-conditioned lodge sits on 290 acre Nicaboyne Lake, which is a fun, fully recreational lake between 10am-5pm. The area feels more peaceful than some of the other lakes in the area as the east side of the lake is undeveloped. When you look out to the lake from the lodge and beach it somewhat resembles the boundary waters. The lodge is set back from neighboring cabins, which were originally part of the resort, and is nestled in the woods, offering privacy. Its expansive front lawn is perfect for yard games like softball, kickball, tug of war, etc. The yard also has a shuffleboard and a horseshoe pit. Kids love the large play set, too!br brThe great room of the lodge has a lovely stone fireplace, large bar (which was originally the check-in desk), and a piano. The dining room offers seating for 30 and is full of large windows and light. As the resort was a fully functional restaurant at one point, it also has a commercial kitchen perfect for making meals together. Right off of the kitchen is the former lodge owner’s private quarters, which has an additional living room, full bathroom, and two bedrooms. It also has a separate entrance with an amazing screened-in porch, paver patio, Weber grill, and fire pit.brbrRight off of the great room and facing the woods is a second screened-in porch, where many love to read and relax during rain showers.
