Heggland is a 3 acre peninsula on the east side of Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan. brbrYou can wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise, or sit down and enjoy the sunset views in the evening. The house is well kept and very updated with the latest amenities. The two bedrooms have queen size beds and the enclosed loft has 2 double beds and 2 single beds.brbrThe shoreline is mainly a rocky shoreline with great bass fishing, but there is also a lagoon and depending on the year some beach area (depends on lake conditions). Just a short distance to town, you can shop or have a wide variety of dining options. There is also great swimming, fishing and hiking. Heggland does offer an optional boat slip, please inquire when making your reservation or in advance of your stay.brbr*Turnover day is Saturday during the peak season*brbr** No Camper or Boat parking at any time. This lovely Door County cabin is a beautiful home located in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. It sits on 3-1/2 wooded acres in a secluded, but not remote location. The entire cabin is available to our guests. There are two bedrooms, with very comfortable queen sized beds. The skylight and large windows in the cabin means that the space is always full of sunlight. We have a lovely, huge firepit on the property for your use and there is a flame view propane stove in the living room for those cool evenings. The cabin has central heating and central air conditioning. We are pet friendly. We want guests to be aware that this is a heavily wooded location -- so lovely and private. But there are critters in the woods -- we see deer very often. That means there is a possibility you may have squirrels or other small critters walking across the roof or yard. We have a company called Mosquito Squad spray the acreage with pet and people friendly spray to keep mosquito and tick populations down -- and our guests tell us that it works very well!br

Enjoy our Rustic Log Cabin with all the comforts and amenities of home and 100 ft of lake front and private dock on peaceful Kangaroo Lake, great for fishing or a peaceful sail. Your dog is welcome to join you on this trip for an additional fee. The 1100 acre lake is the largest inland lake in Door County. brbrWith a public access and private dock bring your own motor boat or enjoy the fishing boat or canoe provided. Kangaroo Lake is home to Perch, Walleye, Bluegill, Northern, as well as Small and Large Mouth Bass. There is Door County Kayak Tours to provide guided kayaking tours.brbrThe rustic Log Cabin on Kangaroo Lake include 100 feet of private for your enjoyment. This original log home sleeps 8-10 guests and has three bedrooms and two baths, kitchen, and a living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace . There are screened in porches on each level. The lower level has a large outdoor dining table, so you can enjoy the water view during meals without pests friends. The lower screened dining area leads to a screened gazebo. The upper level screened room can be used to relax and take in the sunrise or as a sleeping porch. There are 2 gas grills, kayaks, canoe and a private firepit by the water.brThe spacious 1st floor master suite has 1 king.
