Door County Retreat. Walk to Kangaroo Lake.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It is very spacious, enough room for us, our kids, and our neices and nephews to spread out and enjoy. We come up every year for Fall Fest Family Reunion. The large table in the kitchen works so nice for pumpkin carving and game nights. Lots of great memories. We can't wait to come back again. Our host was also very responsive to messages.

Kitchen and living room area was wide open, which was great for our group and birthday celebration weekend. The house was clean, plenty of room and sleeping spaces for our group of nine. Back yard was great for a fall evening bon fire. Host was easy going and easy to communicate with.

One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Comfortable beds. Easy access to neighboring small towns. There is no public beach access to Kangaroo lake but there are other public beaches in Door county that aren’t terribly far away. Highly recommend this property.

Great house and property. Lots of fun amenities for a family and whilenoff the beaten path is so close to Kangaroo Lake and is beautiful at night.

We visited with our kids and another family. Plenty of space for 4 adults & 5 kids ages 8-13. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Yard games, basketball hoop & fire pit were great. Location is awesome-walk down to the lake, close to Baileys Harbor and easy to get to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek or Sister Bay.

To be honest, the property looks great on pictures but even better in person! This property was the cleanest I have been to that I ever booked! The property is spacious and there is a lot of room for everybody. Owner even thought about people with kids as there is a little kids table with toys and a seperate bedroom with cool bunk beds! There is a nice living room area downstairs with a sectional couch and a TV, fussball table and a bar table! I highly recommend the fussball table for competition with your friends! Property has a great raised deck with a nice view toward the forest. Great for relaxing with morning coffee. There is a spacious yard behind the house that can be used for outdoor fun. Also a nice firepit and grill. Property is located in a quiet neighborhood but there is a significant distance between neighbors that you won’t bother them and they won’t bother you. Property had an advertised outside bar that I was actually not planning to use but it was damaged from a fallen tree. Owner instantly messaged me and informed me of the problem and tried to fix it before my arrival but was unable to. In no way this affected my stay but, I appreciated the communication effort! I loved my stay, I hoped the weather would be just a bit better but the property compensated for it and made my stay feel 10/10! I can’t recommend the property and the owner enough!

We came up for a family reunion during Fall Festival. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our 2 adult children with their significant others, our nieces and nephews aged 9 through 22, and our dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone. The weather was beautiful, we enjoyed hanging out on the deck outside, playing cards and games at the huge dining room table, and playing in the huge lower level. They had everything we needed in the kitchen, and left a sweet welcome package as well. Our host responded very quickly when I asked the night before coming out if there was a crock pot (there was). Everyone in our group commented that they want to stay here again next year. We can't wait to come back.

We loved our stay near Kangaroo Lake. Anything we needed was a quick walk or drive, but the house itself had it all!
