All of your heating and cooling creature comforts are well taken care of with two split systems – 1 upstairs and 1 down, panel heaters in each bedroom plus pedestal fans. It has all the appliances you will need, including an all important coffee machine. There is a balcony off the the living area that has an electric BBQ which is the perfect place to sit on those warm summer evenings in Anglesea and watch the world go by. If you prefer to stay home the large deck at the front of the home is ideal for morning coffees whilst the back garden is great for entertaining with a large area for kids to burn off some energy. This bushy walking track takes you down to the Anglesea River, right next to the where the Great Ocean Road crosses it. This is about a 10/15 minute walk. From the Great Ocean Road, its about another 15 minute walk along the river (all on walking track along the river) to the river mouth and beach (and the kids playground). So walking time to the beach is about 30 mins, or five mins by car.brbrSimilarly walking to the Anglesea shopping strip is about 30 mins through Kuarka Dorla but only five mins by car. The shops have lots of take away places, as well as bakeries and an IGA.brbrFrom Murray Street (one street down from Russell Ave and accessible from Kuarka Dorla walking track), if you turn left and follow the hill up and over, you will get to Coogoorah Park. This takes about 15 mins on foot (but warning, the hill to get over is a steep one if you are doing it on foot). Coogoorah Park has the most amazing playground, that is a recently renovated ship inspired by the ‘Inverlochy’ that is such a favourite with kids. This park also has some picturesque BBQ spots. The park is also a wetlands for birds and is full of board walks and walking tracks that are so special to explore.brbrAlso, a short five minute walk from our place is the Anglesea Heath. This is a vast bushland that is truly beautiful to walk in, even if you only do a short walk in to it you will be blown away by its beauty. The living area has a slow combustion wood fire and air conditioning so you will be comfortable at any time of the year.
