It can also be reached by train to Lilydale linking a frequent and regular bus service to Warburton. brWarburton sits astride the Yarra River approximately 20 kms from the Upper Yarra Dam (well worth a visit). Walks criss-cross the river or why not take a dip For other walks the choice is endless ranging from a 15 minute stroll to an all day hike. The Warburton Bicycle Trail “Warby Trail” from Lillydale to Warburton was the old railway line and is now well used by both cyclists and walkers. brShould you want to 'ruin' a good walk try the inexpensive and grossly under used yet superb local golf course (club hire available). There are also tennis courts, a bowling green and a sports arena. All wheel drive or 4x4 will do the trick. A conventional car will also make it with steady driving. It's only short but quite steep.brbrWe live in the big house down the hill but understand you are here to enjoy your privacy. It is a relaxing and comfortable house with a huge deck overlooking Warburton's coveted rainforest north side and cosy indoor spaces with a wood fireplace and heat pump for additional heating. brbr3 comfortable bedrooms are found on the upper floor, two which have queen beds, and the third has a double bed with a single loft bed over top. Each bed has comfortable linens and an electric blanket for cosy nights. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room.brbrOn the first floor you will find the large kitchen is stocked with everything you may need for eating in, and we provide you with basic fixings for tea and coffee. Two indoor eating areas include a breakfast bench in the kitchen and a separate dining table.brbrThe newly renovated bathroom has a huge tub and a shower with a rain shower head that is so comfortable. A second toilet is located next to the main washroom, helpful for larger groups. A dedicated laundry room offers a washing machine and dryer.brbrYou will be drawn to the incredible and large deck, with views of Mt. Donna Buang. It is a wonderful place for a morning coffee while you watch Warburton's abundant and beautiful bird life. A BBQ is available for your use.brbrYou will have full access to the space and property, and you can reach me for any help you may need. The property is cleaned top to bottom before every check-in and stocked with fresh linens and towels.brbr
