Half the building is a hotel, the other half are privately owned time-shares. This unit is in the private owner's time-share area. Renting from private owners gives guests free access to the private spa gym, and pool on the 9th floor. Amenities in the spa include a full gym, exercise classes, eucalyptus and dry saunas and message services are available for an additional fee. My family has enjoyed this condo since the 1970's. We own this as a one week timeshare and the condo is professionally managed. This condo is double unit with traditional hotel side with two full beds and full bath on one side and an adjoining studio unit with Murphy Bed and Couch that folds out as well as fireplace and full kitchen. It can sleep up to 8 people but works best for 6 or less. Both units have sliding glass doors with balconies and gorgeous views of the mountain and ski slopes. You are in the Snowbird Village and right across the street from the WIlbere Lift so you can grab your skis and go. There is an outdoor heated pool onsite as well as a gym and oversized hot tub. The common property area also features a game room, laundry facilities and there is great restaurant onsite as well call Wildflower. They are adjoining units, so you can have privacy in the bedroom as the party goes on in the studio! There are two south view private balconies with stunning views of the mountain from the 7th floor. A gas fired stone fireplace to warm up after a long day of skiing/boarding. There is a full kitchen with island counter/bar, a dining room table which seats 8, plenty of dresser and closet space for all your belongings, and 2 full baths with an additional changing room and sink by each. Each of units has a TV and there is wireless throughout the lodge. Equipment can be stored in the room or in assigned lockers on the 2nd floor. brA concierge desk in the main lobby can assist with any questions or even purchase lift tickets without going outside! Amenities include: outdoor heated swimming pool, indoor adult hot tub, sauna, fitness center, coin operated laundry, game room. There is a great Italian restaurant in the lodge or a 5-minute walk gets you to the Snowbird Center with many dining establishments, a food market, liquor store, ski shops, and even a post office.brThe resort is a short 45-minute drive from Salt Lake City Airport. Also, at the base of the canyon (15-minute drive) is Sandy, Utah with many restaurants, stores, super markets, and anything else that you may need. If you rent a car, we would suggest getting something that is all wheel drive, as the Little Cottonwood Canyon Road has restrictions during snow falls. But even if you don't have your own transportation, there is a bus that connects with the SLC public transportation system.
