Outdoor cameras above & in the garage will remain on only for security purposes and to monitor Mika the cat. 4 trail cams monitor for deer/bears/cougars.brWinter: Mid-November through mid-April, plan for the roads to be covered in snow. We are right off the reference road leaving East from Mount Pleasant. Some park at Power Plant park and snowmobile up to Skyline Drive, while others use the highway to access snowmobile parking lots. If your snowmobile trailer cannot make it over the bridge, many park at Power Plant Park and drive their snowmobiles up to the property on the snow-packed road.brWinter is an awesome time to sled on or off the property. Children love playing outside and building snow forts. Snowshoeing is also a fun activity (in the garage, there are 9 pairs of snowshoes, 6 adult and 3 junior snowshoes that you can use during your stay). There are several trails on the property that you can explore.brThe city plows the road that passes the driveway, but the driveway will be covered in packed snow. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND four-wheel drive (ideally with snow tires or chains) while on the property because there is a small hill exiting the property that can be challenging for two-wheel drive vehicles or cars with poor tire tread to exit (see pictures for winter conditions). The recent atmospheric river has dropped a lot of snow in Mount Pleasant. Given the current weather conditions, I would encourage you to have any guests WITHOUT a four-wheel drive vehicle with winter tires or chains to park in town or at the power plant park (1/4 mile from the property entrance) and be shuttled by those who have 4WD vehicles.brCovered Bridge Height and Width: 130 inches tall and 117 inches wide.brParking: There is a long wooded driveway with plenty of parking near the home, along with a big turnaround at the end of the driveway. There are no neighbors to worry about. Park where you feel comfortable while on the property.brPets: No pets. We are happy for you to visit, but pets and assistance animals cannot be permitted. We apologize for this inconvenience, but the owner`s family has severe pet allergies, and any pets would create a health and safety hazard to the owner`s family. Due to severe allergies, we are unable to host any pets. We aim to be clear and polite with regard to this policy and hope to avoid any potential disappointment for those planning to stay here. We appreciate your understanding.brbrAn additional fee of $5 per guest applies for each guest over 20.brAn email will be required to send a separate rental agreement to be signed. No Smoking/Vaping: This is a 100% smoke-free property. Any violation will result in a $200 per day fine for the duration of the stay.br2. Pet Policy: br- Undisclosed or unauthorized pets will incur a $250 fee.br- Monthly pet fees are $75 per month, per petbr- Approved pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are $20/day per pet.br- Service Animals: ADA-recognized Service Animals stay for free.br- Cleanup & Damage: Guests must clean up after their pet. A $25 fee per instance of uncollected waste outdoors will be applied. Guests are responsible for professional cleaning costs for indoor `accidents` and the full cost of any property damage caused by pets.br3. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Requests require 24 hours` notice and are subject to availability at a rate of $15 per hour. Extended requests may require booking an additional night. Unauthorized late check-outs will be charged $50 per hour.br4. Cancellation Policy: By booking, guests agree to the cancellation policy detailed on the listing. Any requests to move dates remain subject to the cancellation policy of the original dates. [Exception]: If a guest cancels and those dates are successfully rebooked by another party, a refund will be issued to the original guest for the rebooked portion.br5. Consumables: We provide an initial supply of paper goods, soaps, sponges, and detergents. Any additional supplies needed during your stay are the guest`s responsibility to purchase.br6. Lost and Found: Host is not responsible for any lost items. To recover an item, please contact guest services via the booking platform. We can ship items back for a $20 service fee plus the cost of materials and shipping, payable in advance. Items left behind will be held for 14 days; after this period, they are considered abandoned. br7. Property Condition: Please survey the home upon arrival and report with photos any pre-existing damage or cleanliness issues within 4 hours of check-in. After this grace period, the guest accepts the property`s condition and may be held responsible for any damages found after check-out.br8. Mail & Packages: Please contact guest services before shipping any items to the property, as mail access varies by location. The host is not responsible for any mail or packages delivered or lost during your stay. For stays exceeding 15 days, we may require a separate lease agreement or ask that you use a local post office for deliveries.br9. Pest Control: Our properties are professionally treated. Should a pest-related medical issue be reported, guests must provide medical confirmation of the cause. We will then dispatch a third-party inspector to verify findings and determine the appropriate resolution.br10. Lockouts: For doors with key access, contact guest services for lockbox instructions. For all other lockouts, guests are responsible for hiring a locksmith at their own expense. If a member of the host`s team is dispatched to assist, a $75 service fee will be charged.br11. Moving Furniture: Moving furniture is not allowed. A $500 fee will be assessed if the cleaners have to move furniture to reset the property for the next guest.br12. Third-Party Bookings: Booking on behalf of others is strictly prohibited. The person who books must be the person staying. Any exceptions require prior written approval from the host via the booking platform.br13. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until 8:00AM each morning. Quiet hours consist of keeping all audio and noise levels at a minimum level out of respect for the neighbors. br14. Missing/Broken Items: Any items missing or broken must be reported to the host. Please leave broken items on the kitchen counter when you leave. Additional charges may apply. br15. Garbage: No garbage or debris left outside unattended. All garbage must be bagged and stowed in the bins located on the property. A $50 fee, per bin, will be assessed for unbagged garbage found in the bins.br16. Property Maintenance: To keep our homes in top shape, light maintenance or repairs may occur during your stay.
