The upstairs also has an additional sunroom with a pull-out bed (full). Downstairs has two bed rooms. The first has a queen bed and an ensuite. The kitchen is fully functional for cooking meals or preparing a snack. brThe dining area can be used for mealtimes or playing games! brThis home is designed for families or friends and can easily accommodate six adults and two children.brbrGuest Access:brGuests have complete access to the whole house, backyard and plenty of space to park next to the house with additional street parking.brbrThe Neighborhood:brThis neighborhood is being renovated and many new changes are being made. We consider it safe and live nearby. Some of the houses were built many years ago and are now being purchased and restored to beautiful homes.brbrOther Things to Note:brOne small double bed is located in the bedroom and doubles as a seating area when not needed for sleeping. Green Door Lofts, also known as `Funky Town` as coined by Chip on Fixer Upper `Urban Loft Challenge,` is a 9-unit luxury loft complex in the heart of Waco`s bustling Silo District. We are next door to the historic Hippodrome Dinner Theater and steps away from eclectic shops, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, and live music. Magnolia Market is an easy walk away, or take the free trolley that stops outside. Each loft is crafted with a unique flair and offers a distinct experience.brbrbrbrThe Silo Chic Loft is our newest loft at the Green Door Lofts! This loft combines glitter and glam with a unique urban farmhouse feel. Elegant chandeliers adorn the living and dining areas, contrasting the unfinished, exposed brick walls still leftover from the 1920s. A large, private balcony overlooks downtown Waco`s most popular avenue, a tree-lined street filled with people enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. brbrbrbrThe master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with high quality, pressed, triple-sheeted linens. This loft is truly amazing and the balcony overlooking Austin Avenue is very private, a great place to enjoy coffee and watch the city wake up. Unlike our other 1-bedroom lofts, there is no Murphy bed in the living area. There is a sofa that converts into a day bed but at best can hold one small person or child. If more space is needed, consider our bigger 1-bedroom lofts (Tuna, Retro, or Urban Cowboy), the Magnolia Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), Bo Ho Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), or the Stained Glass Loft (4/3, sleeps 8).brbrbrbrThe loft has an in-unit washer/dryer. Guests will also love the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with coffee and tea. Entertainment includes a large screen SmartTV with Direct TV and free wifi.brbrbrbrThe building`s courtyard has a seasonally HEATED POOL with lounge chairs and tables. The mezzanine deck overlooks the avenue below - perfect for people watching!brbrbrbrThis loft overlooks an avenue in the heart of the city`s shopping and entertainment district so noise may be heard inside the living room. The bedroom is interior and very quiet with the door closed. However, I do find that if 3 adults are sharing the room you might find the Retro or Urban Cowboy better suited due to noise considerations in the living area, especially Thursday- Saturday. Even so this is not terrible and people have not mentioned this. I am just being particular!brbrbrbrFinally, the Silo Chic Loft is on the second floor and accessed only by stairs. If this is an issue, please consider our 4 bedroom listing on the first floor.brbrbrbrA unique code for keyless entry makes check-in and check-out flexible and convenient. The owner lives on-site and can be reached by cell phone any time. We`re happy to provide suggestions for local eateries and activities, in addition to the loft`s information guide.brbrbrbrGreen Door Lofts gets its name from the famous green door that welcomes residents into the courtyard. This 9 unit complex is located on a trendy street that links the historic old homes of Waco with the parks along the Brazos River. Next door is the iconic Waco Hippodrome, where you can grab dinner and an adult beverage while watching a play, concert, or show. Waco’s free trolley stops in front of the loft before continuing to the Silos and other downtown shops.brbrbrbrA few blocks away is Cameron Park, a 416-acre stretch of land with hike and bike trails and the Waco Zoo. We are also located within five minutes of Baylor`s McLane Stadium. On game days, Baylor’s free shuttle that runs between downtown and the stadium is only a couple blocks away.brbrbrbrDowntown Waco has plenty of free street parking and Ubers are readily available. The loft is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We have our own secured garage in the building.

Green Door Lofts, featured on Fixer Upper Urban Loft Challenge and referred to as `Funky Town` by Chip, is a 9-unit luxury loft complex in the heart of Waco`s bustling Silo District. We are next door to the historic Hippodrome Dinner Theater and steps away from eclectic shops, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, and live music. Magnolia Market is an easy walk away, or take the free trolley that stops outside. Each loft is crafted with a unique flair and offers a distinct experience.brbrbrbrThe Waco Rose Loft is our newest loft at the Green Door Lofts. The loft is toward the back and slightly removed from the pool. Because of its location and lack of a wall mounted murphy bed I have priced this unit a bit lower than the other one bedroom lofts. It is still though extremely nice and very quiet.brbrbrbrThe master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with high quality, pressed, triple-sheeted linens. Unlike our other 1-bedroom lofts, there is no Murphy bed in the living area. There is a sofa that converts into a day bed but at best can hold one small person or child. If more space is needed, consider our bigger 1-bedroom lofts (Tuna, Retro, or Urban Cowboy), the Magnolia Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), Bo Ho Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), or the Stained Glass Loft (4/3, sleeps 8).brbrbrbrThe loft has an in-unit washer/dryer. Guests will also love the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with coffee and tea. Our fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for family gatherings.
