Large families may consider both properties that can accommodate up to 30 guests (maximum of 14 guests at Destination Constellation and 16 guests at Southern Destination). The properties are only 1 house apart from each other. brbrSouthern Destination is a private home on the resort on South Padre Island that has been transformed into a relaxing vacation rental, including a heated pool, recently redecorated.brbrSouth Padre Island is a beach destination located at the tip of the Texas coast, just north of Brownsville, Texas and is bordered on the east side by the Gulf of Mexico and on the west side by the Laguna Madre. The island is only accessible by causeway or boat.brbrSouthern Destination is just a couple minute walk, about 120 yds. down Constellation Drive to Aquarius Circle Beach Access #18. At Aquarius Circle beach entrance, island visitors will find easy access to the Gulf of Mexico via a newly constructed boardwalk with outdoor shower for easy clean-up after a relaxing day on the beach. Waiting back at your private vacation home is Spectrum cable, and high-speed internet available throughout the house (a total of six flat-screen TVs).brbrThe master bedroom can accommodate two guests each with a King size bed. Guest bedroom can accommodate four guests each on a queen size bed and two XL bunks. The third bedroom has two sets of queen beds that will accommodate four more guests. The loft bedroom has a queen sleeper sofa for two more the sleep with an inflatable comfort mattress. A queen size sleeper sofa in this large open living room can accommodate two guests each. These are the best sofa sleepers that you will ever find to sleep upon. Each fitted with a normal thickness coil spring sofa mattress but what makes these different, the mattress has an adjustable air bed on top. Two additional rollaway beds will be located in the downstairs enrty closet. All sixteen guests will have easy access to covered patio and pool area in a beautifully landscaped backyard. You may bring your personal beach towels for the pool and beach but we have extra if needed. Bath towels provided by Southern Destination cannot be used at the beach.brbrA fenced in backyard provides privacy for your family as they relax by the lagoon bottom pool. There are two outdoor showers on each side of the house.brbrSouthern Destination provides all bed linens and bath towels. Beds are adorned with colorful comforters, quilts, and blankets.brbrThe kitchen is complete with granite counters as well as all of the stainless steel appliances, equipment, and cooking amenities/utensils needed to prepare that special island meal for your family and friends. Not interested in cooking There are several restaurants in close proximity to your vacation home available for your family and friends to enjoy a relaxed evening on the island.brbrSouthern Destination is a non-smoking facility. We will consider allowing up to two pets with prior approval. An additional cleaning fee does apply. Two driveways provide enough space in front of the house to accommodate up to five cars.brbrSouth Padre has so many enjoyable activities for your family to participate in while you are on the island. Golf cart rental just down the street. Just across Padre Island Boulevard is the U.S. Post Office and several restaurants and bars are within walking distance from Southern Destination. South Padre Island enjoys an unbelievable variety of amusement amenities, including fishing, swimming, windsurfing, beach buggy rides, horseback riding, party cruises and a vast range of water sports along the most beautiful gulf coast of South Texas. Your guests and family will also enjoy visiting well-known attractions such as The Birding Center, Turtle Rescue Center, Horseback Riding and Petting Center, and Museums. Shopping, restaurants with a variety of cuisines, and beachfront clubs and bars located throughout the island on our three major boulevards: Padre Island Blvd., Gulf Blvd., and Laguna Blvd. Another popular attraction is an eight-mile ride North to the end of the of Hwy 100. There you will find beautiful sand dunes and a natural beach setting that is admired by travelers from all over the world. A small welcome package is provided which includes 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash can liner in each trash can, liquid hand soap by each sink, liquid dish soap in the kitchen and 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.
