It is shallow - plenty deep enough for an inboard or IO boat, but only about 3 feet deep all the way across the cove. We are just past the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marina so we get to watch the boats slowly go out throughout the day and come in during the evening, but there is virtually zero boat traffic in our part of the cove. It is peaceful, the water is calm and it is a GREAT place to kayak, SUP, fish, play water baseball, or just float around on a lilypad. brbr==About the dock==: The docks are available for your enjoyment and you can moor your boat or personal watercraft overnight. We recommend putting in at the public boat ramp at LBJ Marina (about 5 minutes drive from our location) and storing your trailer there (nominal overnight storage fee) while leaving your boat moored at our docks. Not bringing a boat or PWC Rent one from the area boat and jetski rental companies. brbrChildren are welcome. The stairs are set up in such a way that you could bring two baby-gates and any crawlers/toddlers would be confined to the main floor. brbr+++Things to Know+++ The kitchen is well-stocked with a fairly good variety of spices as well as oil, vinegar, and salt and pepper.
