Located on one of the Hill Country's most scenic roads for cycling and walking is the brand new Jacquelyn's Retreat. This is the 4th of 4 of Amelia's Casitas and comes with so much to offer! This Casita has 1 bedroom 1 bath (studio style) with a spacious fully stocked bathroom. We also provide a coffee bar set up ready to enjoy on the house. This casita comes OVERSTOCKED with fresh towels/toiletries and water for our guest. We provide a 42 smart TV that is pre-loaded with Netflix and other apps, just login and enjoy. Jacquelyns retreat has a mini kitchenette which includes a microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven with a griddle on top and a coffee pot. LETS TALK VIEWS! There are two charcoal bbq grills and a large fire pit (ready to go) for our guest to enjoy their favorite bottle of wine under the hill country stars. Our guests can enjoy country living only 5 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg! Here at Amelia's Casitas we are pet friendly upon approval, but we do require a additional $30 fee for our maids to completely DEEP clean and deodorize everything. We also require all pets to be on a leash and the pet owner must clean up any and all waste. This old farmhouse was a diamond in the rough when we first bought it in January 2016. After 10 months of renovations we opened in November 2016 and are constantly making improvements based on customer feedback to create the best vacation for our guests. The newest addition being another covered patio off the back side of the detached garage.brbrIt's almost a completely new house with all the old character that made us fall in love with the property including the original windows, doors, trim work, chimney and refinished wood floors that bring warmth and charm to every room. On the structural side the main living area has been completely opened for a true open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space perfect for any large gathering complete with a beautiful wood covered vaulted ceiling. The home's foundation, electrical, plumbing, and AC system have also been completely updated making it efficient and reliable for your wine country getaway.brbrThere are three bedrooms in the main house. The master bedroom has a queen bed and Tempurpedic daybed/trundle with its own private bathroom featuring a double vanity and refinished cast iron tub. The other two bedrooms each have a king bed and share the main bathroom which also has a double vanity.
