Original Cabin #2 sits by century old pecan trees that provide a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire, play volleyball, pitch horseshoes or just relax and observe wildlife. The tapered riverbank makes this location great for young kids. There are shallow river areas, perfect for smaller children, and deep swimming holes for fishing and swimming. Set your camp chair seat-deep in the Frio while enjoying your favorite beverage and hanging out with your crew or grab your tube and float down to our River Terrace property (about 45 min float from this location) and hang out in the deep swimming hole. Take a walk on our primitive nature trails where abundant wildlife can be seen.
