Perfect cozy retreat with a private driveway for up to five cars. Our cabin sits on a .75 acre wooded lot within the Camelot Forest Community. The outside area has a large fire pit, two hammocks, and a grill perfect for for a relaxing afternoon, cookout, or evening fire. You'll feel somewhat hidden in the woods without sacrificing convenience. The closest grocery store, CVS, Wawa, and Dunkin Donuts are less than a two mile drive away. Walk into and open concept layout inside with recently updated furniture and appliances throughout. The first floor's a main room has a vaulted ceiling, 55 wall mounted TV, wood burning fireplace, sofa seating for five, a large dining table, and the fully stocked kitchen. Updated appliances and granite counter tops make it simple and fun to cook for groups of two, four, or more. There are two bedrooms and the bathroom on the first floor as well. Bedrooms #1 has a queen bed and bedroom #2 has two bunk beds ideal for kids. The house's bathroom, washer, and dryer are also on the first floor. The upstairs loft / master bedroom has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, another wall mounted TV, and a half bath. Our cabin is on the smaller side but is very comfortable, private, and accessible. Welcome to The Getaway located in Locust Lake Village. The home is situated on one floor with a huge lofted living area, AC window unit in the dining area. This is a great family retreat. We have a huge backyard with a custom tree house the kids will love. We have swings and lots of room to run and play. The yard offers a firepit area situated in the prime location for getting a full view of all the stars in the sky. You can sit by the fire, cooking marshmallows and making great family memories. Welcome to The Getaway located in Locust Lake Village one of the best communities the Poconos has to offer. The home is situated on one floor with a huge lofted living area. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are open space with a loft-like feel. AC window unit in the dining area. We have a stone gas-burning fireplace. The whole home was completely gut-renovated a few years ago. This is a great family retreat. We have a huge backyard with a custom tree house the kids will love. We have swings and lots of room to run and play. The yard offers a firepit area situated in the prime location for getting a full view of all the stars in the sky. You can sit back with a roaring fire, cooking marshmallows and making great family memories. Outside of the living room, we have an outdoor seating area with a bbq grill and a picnic table. The home is clean and modern with stylish decor. We have 4 lakes in our community, one is an 8-minute walk from our home. We have a small ski hill with a T-bar lift on the weekends, the sledding hill is open every day and we provide blow-up tubes and sleds. Our community is approx. 10 mins drive to the Kalahari Waterpark & Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Pocono Race Track. 20-25 minutes to Camelback resorts, Mount Airy Casino, Crossing outlets & water rafting. 35-40 minutes from Bushkill Falls, Historic Jim Thorpe, Skirmish paintball, Scranton Electric City. The best way to get around is by car. Locust Lake Village has 24 hours security. The community has a $35 registration fee for the length of your stay. You are able to drive to any of the four lakes and/or amenities with the car tag the office will give you at check-in. Our driveway can fit up to 6 cars, no street parking is allowed in the community. Please note the community's speed limit is 25 m/h. Security enforces reckless driving with violation tickets.

Pines Lake is within walking distance, and it's easiest to drive 2 mins to one of the 3 community lakes so you don't have to carry all your gear, and there are parking spots at all of our beaches.brbrIt is possible to reach Adama House by Greyhound bus to nearby Mount Pocono or Blakeslee then taxi/Uber to the house, if you plan on having a quiet reclusive weekend.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrThe primary renter on all reservations must be 25 years of age or older, in accordance with local short term rental laws. Please respect the neighborhood and keep outside noise to a minimum after 11pm. No more than 8 guests are permitted to stay overnight.
