Arrowhead Lake Retreat w/ Private Indoor Pool!

Dirty! Dont walk on the floors barefoot. Every flat surface was sticky. Stains on everything.The pool table has a giant square rip that i taped down to try and make the best of things. Had to go buy glue to repair the pool sticks.The hot tub is broken. Jets kinda work in one corner.No response from anyone about anything. Very disappointed. They know this stuff is all in dis repair, or flat out broken. Once they have your money you are stuck.Do not stay here!

The house was in a great and beautiful location. The house was not clean, very dusty, the blinds were torn, and the hot tub and dishwasher were not working. The property manager didn't respond right away, but did offer compensation for them not working, which was great. Only it was after we had already left. If the house were cleaned better and had no ruined blinds, it would have received 5 stars.

Overall the house was in decent condition and was big enough to fit our family but I felt that it does need an updating and renovation. There was a lot of room to improve regarding how clean the house was. There was a lot of dust in many parts of the house like nothing was wiped down in a long time. Dead bugs around most of the windows. A lot of Spider webs all over. Pool was nice to have in the house as it was raining on two of the days we were there. It wasn’t heating properly when we arrived but Tom quickly came to fix it and the kids enjoyed the heated pool. Check was quick and easy. The lake and its amenities was always a plus to have. Overall the stay was fine.

Bed sheets and blankets werent clean. Has stain on it. There were lots of bugs in the first floor.

Really liked the house. Didn't realize it was in a gated community. Easy to find. The QR codes to enter the gate was the only issue, couldn't get them to work. The house suited our needs perfectly

1) Trouble checking in with key card. Our key card did not work and we had to drive all the way back to where we originally got it. 2) The road that the house was on was a complete sheet of ice. For the amount of the rental and the community fees, you’d think it would be easily accessible. 3) The house was not as clean as you’d expect an Vrbo to be. 4) Only 1 small burner on the stove worked. Hard to cook food. 5) The hot tub/pool has some black areas around the nozzles and was not as expected. 6) 1 small tv in the whole house7) stains on the floors and the mattress. Overall, fairly run down and outdated. Would not recommend unless a severe upgrade is made.

house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. fairly clean but could be better. found an empty food wrapper in the bedroom and empty cups and a bottle left in the back yard. hot tub was great, but some of the jets were not working, which would lead into the fact that the house is in need of overall maintenance. the felt on the pool table was ripped (but playable) we went down to the clubhouse and played a few games there and those tables were beautiful, and we had the room to ourselves which was nice. the closet doors in the game room are off the tracks and a window in the hot tub area was completely jacked up and couldn't be closed. we left the owner a message so he would know that we were not responsible. he acknowledged the issues but didn't seem too concerned about it. had bicycles to use if you wanted. nice, fairly private, back porch was relaxing. we had a good trip but it's a shame that a really nice vacation home could be much better with a little work done on it.

We enjoyed the community and location but the property itself was not very clean and had several maintenance issues. Several outlets and switches did not appear to work, the ceiling fans in the bedrooms did not work. Half the jets in the pool did not work. The whirlpool jets in the tub did not work. The bedding and towels were clean, but it seemed that was the extent of the cleaning that was done.

Nice community. Hot tub was huge. Loved the lake beaches.

Most necessary things were there, but the property was grubby. Dirt/ handprints on walls, cobwebs, outdoor chairs covered in green algae so we couldn’t use them. Clearly hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. Pool hadn’t been vacuumed. Had an issue/ question with the pool and someone said they were coming to clean it and bring coffee filters (we’d brought our own coffee but then couldn’t make it) but then didn’t come. The area itself is nice but I’d suggest a different house.
