The Great Room has Cathedral ceilings and a warm relaxing wood fireplace. Our penthouse is very highly reviewed, and a fabulous place to host any mountain getaway. The dining area has more great views of the lake. The two first floor bedrooms each have private bathrooms . The open loft area has sleeping for five, a bathroom, and a quiet sitting area. brbrWinter activities are a highlight of the area. Big Boulder Ski Resort is just up the road, Jack Frost and Camelback Ski area are a short drive away. Our home is a welcome retreat to enjoy the winter with a cozy fire in a warm and comfortable setting. During the warmer weather there are local Golf courses and hiking trails nearby. We have a beautiful lakeside walking path to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area. Summer fun includes use of the lakefront pool, kiddie splash pool and hot tub. We also belong to the Boulder Lake Club, where for a small fee, you can enjoy a sandy beach for swimming, fun on the floating trampoline, use of the tennis or basketball courts. There is also a playground and many activities for the kids. You can also rent boats for fishing or to just enjoy the water. If you are more adventurous, kayaks and stand up paddleboards are also available. Take a short walk to the Boulder View Tavern to enjoy a great meal or a drink at sunset. brbrWe are close to Split Rock Lodge, Pocono Raceway, The Crossings Outlet Mall, Mount Airy Casino, and Jim Thorpe. We have had vacation homes in Arrowhead Lakes & Lake Harmony of the Poconos for over 12 years and we constantly reminisce about the time we saw bear, how we snowmobiled on the lake, how I floated with my brothers till 3 am under a moonlit sky, how we caught BIg Walter ( our nickname for the largest bass in the lake), our first real Christmas Tree we got at Thornhurst Nurseries with their hot cider and cookies, going to the Country Junction, which claims to be the World's Largest General Store, going to the butcher shop and trying ostrich or venison or even bison, and the epic snowball fights followed by hot chocolate & smores! The lower level also consists of two more bedrooms and a full bath! br As you make your way past the bedrooms, you will be welcomed by a 400-square-foot home theater room that seats 9 comfortably in reclining chairs!
