brbrThe Burnt River is clean and deep, perfect for swimming, fishing, and other water activities. Two kayaks and life jackets are available for guests to explore the river. There is also a sandy beach and public boat launch just a 5-minute drive away. The Burnt River flows into Cameron Lake, where guests can take a short boat or Seadoo ride to enjoy water sports or a day trip through the locks into Balsam Lake or Sturgeon Lake.

brbrFor those who enjoy exploring, the Victoria Rail Trail is just down the road for hiking, biking, or ATV rides. The water supply is from the river, but it is filtered and purified using UV light, making it suitable for bathing, drinking, and cooking.

brbrOther amenities include a fire pit, flat property, good swimming, a walk-in water entry with a dock, and two kayaks for guest use. Pets are welcome (maximum of 2), but please note that the property is not fenced in, and guests are responsible for picking up after their pets and not leaving them unattended.

brbrThe dock is usually ready for use by the May long weekend, and the kayaks are available from May to October. There is a fire ban in the Kawartha region for the month of April, and guests are required to take their garbage and recycling with them at the end of their stay.
