There is a deck overlooking the lake with a dining table and barbecue. Relax in the Muskoka room with a morning coffee! There is a washer and dryer located in the basement of the main cottage. The main cottage has A/C and a working furnace.brbrThe other 2 cottages are 2.5 bedrooms. We say there is a half bedroom because it also holds a shower - yes it is a bit of an odd design. Both of the other 2 cottages have a sitting area, small kitchen and dining area. Both have 3 single beds and 1 double. brbrThere is a boathouse roof to relax with you and your guests down by the water. In the boat house there is a drinks fridge so you do not have to wander far from the water. Enjoy the water trampoline and the standup paddle board. We have both a small beach and deep water entry. My parents were given nothing and this was their/our jewel.brbrI had and still have family in the Muskoka's and we actually helped settle the land in the 1800s. In the 1960s, my dad worked with my uncle from the village who did some real estate after the war and he bought this piece of land,brbrHe let it sit until the 80s when he and my mom had the foundation poured and then he built it from the ground up with his buddies, He was in sales, but thankfully he was handy and all his friends were skilled tradesmen. It is the central focal point in almost all of our memories together, with friends, with extended family.brbrI have taken great pride in not only enjoying it as they wished, but replicating their hard work and perseverance. We try to not only maintain it, but add to it every year like they did, Accepting guests helps us do that.
