In the very rare event of a power outage, please come prepared and have fun and enjoy the outdoors. Most outages in the area are resolved quickly, and during the winter months, you can of course use the wood or gas fireplace to keep the home warm until power is restored.brbrIn the winter, the private road is plowed by a local contractor. We highly recommend winter tires and a 4x4 vehicle for safe travel (there is one medium sized hill that may be challenging in the winter, the rest is fairly flat). Please come prepared. Canoe and kayaks to be placed face down on the rack in case it rains! It will damage the water toys if not properly put away.
