Great cottage on a fantastic lake. We know the area well and picked this property because we love the clear/clean water and beautiful landscapes in that area. It’s the true haliburton experience for sure. Cottage was exactly what you want- clean and the layout was nice in that everone could relax without being on top of each other. The cottage has all the water toys you could want. We mostly used the paddle boards (there’s a great island you can paddle to) and kayaks. Beautiful dock, seating areas as well and the hot tub overlooking the lake was great. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at Kennisis Lake! The location was beautiful and the cottage was so clean and comfortable for our family of 6. The property was very child-friendly and included everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The lake itself was stunning and quiet, and the water was beautiful for swimming and kayaking. We can’t wait to return next year!

Beautiful cottage with amazing wood burning stove. Definitely heated the place very effectively and the trolley to bring down our luggage was the greatest idea!

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The hosts are extremely helpful and kind. The area was so quiet which was perfect for us considering it was Monday to Thursday in October. We enjoyed the spectacular views and the hot tub. 10/10 recommend to stay here

We absolutely loved our little weekend getaway! The cottage was everything we hoped for; it was cute and cozy and offered everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Most of our time was spent just hanging out on the dock and kayaking. It was so peaceful and serene. Travis is a wonderful host; very easy to communicate with and ready & willing to accommodate wherever your needs may be. We also appreciated the little personal touch to help us celebrate our anniversary. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay. My son who is three loved the cottage - we went fishing, kayaking, swimming, sight seeing and just enjoyed spending time together with our family on the dock. The cottage has everything you could think of and was in a lovely sunny spot in the lake. Cottage was clean and hosts were very nice and responsive. Thanks again Travis and Kerri!

My sister and niece were visiting from the UK and we wanted to show them a little bit of the Canadian cottage country. This beautiful cottage with a hot tub overlooking the lake with a dock, paddle boards, kayaks and canoe were everything and more. My young boys and my pup spent hours in the lake jumping from the lily pad. We enjoyed bbqing and relaxing in the evenings in the hot tub. Travis was a wonderful host and made sure our stay was hassle free and enjoyed with ease. We would love to come back again next summer!
