Guests will have access to the full cabin. We ask that Alpine guests respect the privacy of the Timber Haus guests (which is located on the adjacent side of the property.) Inside the Alpine, guests will have access to all spaces minus the locked utility closet. There is a large gravel parking area directly outside of the cabin and we recommend 4-wheel drive due to the grade of the driveway (especially in the winter months.)brbrAlpine location: The Alpine is conveniently located near everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer: Whether you plan to lounge around, hike, canoe, horseback ride, zipline, tour wineries, or attend one of the many festivals hosted in the area, the A-Frame is a perfect home-base. There is so much beauty and so many sites to see - we would be happy to help make recommendations for your stay! brbrOther information to note: We love the modern, cozy comfort of The Everwoods Alpine. It allows us to unplug from our busy and sometimes chaotic day to day life. The Alpine is truly a home away from home, but is not totally without quirks. We are on a septic system which means only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. In addition, we are on well water with a softener system making it perfectly safe to drink and bathe in. Some guests prefer to bring bottled water during their stay as there is a distinct smell of well water.brbrWhile we are proud to offer Starlink Wi-Fi in our cabin, we are in an extremely rural area where internet is often spotty - we ask that you come prepared to unplug in the case that the Wi-Fi signal is not perfect during your stay.brbrSeasonally, we professionally treat for pests, however, on occasion they do find their way into the cabin. After all, it is their environment that we are occupying.brbrWe are a husband and wife duo who care very much about our guests and ensuring you have a wonderful stay with us. We are available during your time at The Everwoods to answer questions or help in any way!brbrHouse rules: br-Despite being animal lovers, we do not permit pets.br-The cabin and private property is non-smoking, which includes both inside and outside and includes tobacco, natural, and vaping.br-Parties/events are not permitted at the cabin.br-We require a rental agreement to be signed prior to your stay.br-We utilize a Ring camera affixed to a tree that faces The Alpine driveway. We use this for the safety of our guests and of our cabin. They are not monitored during your stay aside from ensuring you are able to check-in smoothly. The property may be difficult to access in the winter if there is snow - we make every effort to have the driveway cleared, however, there is a chance you may need to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up about 400 yards.brbrPlease note there is limited mobile phone reception, especially for Verizon customers. AT&T and T-Mobile customers may get reception but it is not guaranteed.brbrWhile the StarLink internet service is incredible for remote areas, please note that storms may cause intermittent connectivity issues.brbrIf you do go down to the creek, please no swimming!brbrThere is another cabin on the property that is unoccupied, please do not try and enter it as it is unsafe.brbrYour total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damager waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $3,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.brbrTwo security cameras are in place on the property, one facing the driveway and one at the front door. The cameras actively record video for your protection and safety.brbrThis cabin is tucked away in the woods, so from time to time, you may notice a bug or small critter inside. We have regular pest control to help manage this, but nature does have a way of sneaking in. In the fall especially, you might see some lady beetles looking for a cozy spot to land—totally harmless, just part of the seasonal charm of being in the forrest.

Inside you'll be greeted by the gas log fireplace and the sitting area. Across is a large table made by the Amish, a bathroom, and the rest of the open concept. Your bedroom is a loft at the furthest corner of the cabin. Out back is a screened in porch for your private use of the hot tub. Enjoy a view of the pines and how they change with the seasons.
