Our adorable newly renovated beach cottage is situated directly across from our neighborhood 2-acre park with tennis courts, swings and wide-open space for kickball or wiffleball games with the family or even a picnic! brbrIt is also only 1 short block from one of Ohio`s premier sandy beaches. Our private neighborhood beach is only open to residents and our guests. Please consider being our guest and making some unforgettable memories!brbrIt is very cozy inside and has been fully renovated. We have 2 bedrooms, a full-size kitchen, full size washer and dryer plus a living room to relax and unwind. All linens, towels and cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishware are provided. brbrWe have a drip coffee maker (filters provided), toaster and microwave. brbrOur outdoor space has 5 Adirondack chairs in back and a table for to seat 4. We also provide propane for the gas grill. brbrJust grab your flip flops, sunblock and head over to our Lake Park Place in Huron.brbrOld Homestead 1 is a very quaint neighborhood bustling in the summer with families headed to the beach or park. Our annual 4th of July parade of bikes and beach festivities draws families back year over year. Our beach is the largest sandy beach on the west side of Cleveland. The outside is incredibly preserved and the inside offers a perfect blend of preservation with a touch of modern efficiency. However, between the lake views, sauna, fishing, and meals on the patio, you'll hardly be inside.brbrSauna - The sauna is a traditional dry sauna with rocks and an electric heater. It is a barrel design which is recommended for 2-4 people and can reach temperatures of around 150.brbrWe also offer free private docking for up to 4 small/medium size boats and jet-skis just 100 yards from the mouth of the channel. The open floor plan offers views of the lake from the back of the house to the front. The kitchen, dining room, pool table area, bar, breakfast alcove and living room all flow together and participate in the dramatic lake view. A second level gallery space with central stairway leads to bedrooms, laundry room and deck. Sleeping quarters include one bedroom on the first floor and four more bedrooms on the second floor. brThere is also a business center, with desk, HP printer, paper and large monitor that can be connected to your laptop.
