Blue Patch, a well known Culburra beach house for families, couples and pets with an average 4.8 star rating and close to everything. brbrBlue Patch is a spacious& delightful older style house decorated both inside and outside in beach blue & garden themes, eclectic in style, with polished floorboards and decorative rugs throughout. There is also a fully secure, large leafy backyard , and separate, detached rumpus room in the backyard ( with table tennis and various games). Ideal for couples, families, or a group of friends and your 4-legged companion. brbrThe house is perfectly laid out with a large foyer off which there are 4 bedrooms all tastefully decorated. There are two bedrooms with queen-size beds, the third bedroom has a double bed, while the fourth has a bunk bed, ( bottom bed is double). One bathroom, with shower over bath and 2 separate toilets. One of the toilets is located near the laundry and outdoor verandah. The bedrooms have, mattress protectors, covered doonas and pillows however if guests would like bed linen and towels this is at an additional cost of $50 per bedroom and includes bathtowels for the number of guests for the duration of the stay. Please note that this is not included in the quoted price.brbrThe house is an open plan layout, with a fully equipped kitchen ( including microwave and dishwasher), a dining area and a large living room with sliding doors leading out to a timber decking and large private yard and garden. The house is not air conditioned but we do have ceiling fans in the 2 queen bedrooms and open plan living area , plus pedestal/tower fans for use in other bedrooms as needed. brbrAccess to and throughout the house requires negotiating 3 steps. The lounge/kitchen open area is sunken , and three steps down from the bedrooms and bathroom area. The verandah at the back has two access points to the back yard, one involves 7 steps the other access only 3 steps then walking down a bark pathway to the backyard. brbrThe garage attached to the house is not available for guests use, with car parking in the driveway or at the front of the house. There is a garage in the backyard, accessible to guests that serves as a games room with table tennis , darts and storage for an array of family games, outdoor chairs, dog beds etc. brbrThe verandah decking is partially covered and surrounded by large leafy trees, visited each morning by an array of colourful parrots. There is a 4 burner barbecue on the verandah, outdoor dining setting and cane deck chairs for your comfort. Surprisingly, and very conveniently it is also only a five minute walk to the town shops. br brLLB will delight you with an abundance of colour, joyous pattern and beautiful furnishings. The LLB master is furnished with an amazingly comfortable king sized Slumberland Latex bed that is top of the range, furnished cotton sheets and a range of pillows to suit the fussiest of sleepers. You might see whales too if you stay during their migration seasons. brbrSURFING brDirectly in front of the house is a section of the beach favoured by surfers so if you're a surfy, you're front and centre all day to watch the conditions. brbrSWIMMING brWith 2 patrolled beach areas, one just north of the house and one a leisurely stroll south at Tilbury Cove there is always somewhere safe for the kids to swim. For the keen surfers there is always good surf banks in front of the house and an excellent point break 500m up the beach at Crookhaven Heads. Wind surfing and kite surfing are popular too.
