This 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom ocean-front beach house offers some of the most spectacular northerly views on the south coast . An established pathway giving direct access to the beach is a 3min walk from the front door of the property.

Key features of this property include:
* Large glass windows and doors allow you to sit inside and enjoy an absolutely spectacular outlook, from either the kitchen, dining area or lounge.
* Peaked roof and raked ceilings echoing the nearby waves and internally giving an uplifting sense of light and space.
* The kitchen takes in the breathtaking ocean views while you cook and features granite bench tops.
* 5 bedrooms, all with built-ins, one with ensuite and 3 with bay windows or decking allowing for ocean views.
* Open plan living areas provide a relaxed lifestyle and the house also gives the option of a separate living room opening onto an outdoor entertaining area.
* A number of outdoor sitting areas for you to enjoy, two with beach front views, one off the dining area and undoubtedly the most outstanding is the front deck with its panoramic outlook over the beach leading onto a grassed lawn area.

The house is split level ideal for the whole family, grandparents and children. The layout and facilities at Golden Shores works perfectly for a family or friends or a couples getaway.

The House
* The back of house faces north so sun floods the living areas in the winter
* Open living and dining area opens fully to outdoor decks with garden and ocean views.
* The gardens have native plants that entice the incredible birdlife in the area. The grassed area provides a great place to lounge and relax whilst watching the waves roll in.
* Fireplace warms the open living area in winter, creating a relaxing ambience throughout the house during the winter months.
* A second living area off the outdoor garden provides for intimate gatherings as well as providing for family entertainment with, a flat screen smart TV, board games and library. The perfect way to de-stress. Internet access available.
* Polished floor boards throughout with carpet in the bedrooms.
* Bedrooms : There are five bedrooms, three queen beds, 1 double and 2 single beds arrangement. Two of the bedrooms have ocean views, with the larger master bedroom opening up onto the side timber decking. All the beds have quality mattresses so a good night sleep is assured. Whilst covered doonas and pillows are provided, the provision of bed sheets and bath towels is extra , if desired at $60 per bedroom ( inclusive of 2 bathtowels) for the duration of stay. Please note to request this along with number of bedrooms when booking as this will not be included in the quoted price.
* Bathrooms : There are two bathrooms, both with showers and toilet and the main one also has a spa bath. Bathrooms have hairdryers and are fully stocked with toiletries for guests.
* The kitchen is well appointed with granite benchtops, microwave, dishwasher, coffee making machine, crockery, stainless steel pots and pans, sharp knives and beautiful glassware. We also have a well stocked pantry (salt, pepper, herbs and spices, sugar, olive oil, sauces etc),
* Outdoor Weber BBQ on one of the decks
* A laundry with washing machine and dryer with air drying capacity.
* Linen supplied upon request. $60 per bedroom ( bed sheets, pillowcases and 2 bathtowels)

Guests requirements
* We are pet friendly but requests regarding bringing of pets MUST be made at the time of booking. Max number of pets is two. We do have indoor and outdoor dog beds and stainless steel food and water bowls. There is a secure area to the left side of the house where your dog can reside when needing to leave the property.
* The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay and may incur additional charges. We will not tolerate birthday/pre/post wedding/anniversary events with additional day/evening guests.
* If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
We have neighbours that are permanent residents and therefore guest requirements/ house rules must be adhered to.

Location and Local Attractions
* Culburra has two beaches, Culburra beach out the back gate and Warrain Beach a 5-10 minute walk. The house is in the perfect position, not far from the patrolled flag area ( during summer months) or the shelter of Tilbury Cove. An established pathway through the dunes to the beach is only 50metres from the front door.
* Lovely walks along the beach, around the rocks at low tide, to the headland, the local lake, Crookhaven lighthouse, Jervis Bay national park
Local lake, Lake Woolumboola is famous for its birdlife. Home to thousands of migratory and local birds, it is an easy 10 minute walk away.
* Jervis Bay is a 15 minute drive, beautiful white sand and crystal clear water.
Shoalhaven and Crookhaven Rivers are a 2 minute drive. Fantastic for boating and fishing. Two boat ramps
* Greenwell Point is famous for its oysters and fish and chips. Lovely park with bike path, take the kids scooters and ball. 10 minute drive away.
* Nowra Fish and Meat Markets sell wonderful fresh fish and meat, excellent quality and good value
* Barefoot lawn bowls is available at the Culburra Bowling Club
* Woolies is now open long hours, quiet, spacious, lots of parking and has everything!
* Golf, several golf courses nearby
* Bike riding, Culburra is very flat and quiet, easy ride to the headland at the end of the street, down to the lake, to the Crookhaven River and Lighthouse and to the shops and cafes
* Excellent children's playground, skate park with picnic facilities is nearby and a flat easy walk. Perfect for younger children

    This is probably the worst place we have ever stayed. Gave the owner an opportunity to refund and offered to provide evidence photographs but owner would not accommodate. Happy to provide anyone with photos. The place has never been cleaned. Owner said professional cleaners went in day before - this is rubbish. Filth, spiders (both alive and dead), cockroaches. The stains on the furniture were so bad that we could not sit on the couch. Foul stains with weird white powder on top, carpet filthy, sand and dirt everywhere, damaged binds. Locks didn't work properly. Cooktop failed to heat so you can't cook. Every plate was chipped. No tall glasses (only one tumbler glass) to drink out of so my young son hard to drink out of a tall beer glass. Cutlery was dirty. Actual rubbish from previous guests in the garden outside, paper plates and garbage. Seriously overpriced. The furniture all looks like it was off the side of the road. The owner said I never told her about taking two dogs, but I emailed her weeks before the date specifically asking about fencing for my two dogs and she replied. So am not sure how she can say she didn't know. Happy to provide evidence of this also. As I said, offered the owner to refund and provide photos but she would not agree. Cobwebs, all paintings on a lean. No one had cleaned this place at all. Foul. Disappointing. Overpriced.

    Loved the views, well equipped house with toiletries and kitchen items. Welcome pack was appreciated. Extremely handy to the dog beach, only a few minutes walk. House worked well with our dogs as there is a fenced area at the side where they could eat and stay when we went out. The house is starting to look a little tired for the amount it costs at peak time, however it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the separate tv area worked well so that didn’t bother us. Nice areas to sit outside, although it was windy most days so it’s good you can see the views from inside. Helen and Ian are very responsive and communication was prompt and clear. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the location and house a lot.

    A perfect Easter weekend with friends in a brilliant location with amazing views. A wonderful comfortable house with great bedrooms & plenty of room to relax. A welcome basket & a pantry full of all the little kitchen items you might need, the homeowners have made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay. Awesome communication, this property comes highly recommended as do Culburra Beach Lake Wollumboola The Little Snapper & Bennys Beach Cafe

    Great communication with the owners. Beautiful house, no aircon was an issue until we realised that the big windows cool the house down with the breeze so well, also every room had its own portable fan. 10 minute walk to any shops and the entrance to the beach is just down your driveway (there is one to the beach from the house but it isn’t great for older people as it can get a little steep). Absolutely would recommend.

    Golden Shores is a fabulous location that has everything our group was looking for . Magnificent views, access to the beach, great cafes within walking distance and the house was, clean, well equipped and comfortable, providing everything we needed. Helen is a wonderful host, leaving a basket of goodies that included a well received bag of treats for our two pups and offering us early check in and late check out so we could maximise our time at the beach. We were a group of 8 adults , split between two generations and this property ticked the boxes for us all. We will definitely be back to explore the area further.

    Perfectly situated beach house looking across the sand and out to sea this well set up house has everything we needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen was amazing loved the stove and coffee machine. A great welcome pack from our Hosts
