We are located on a private dead end street on the bay beach with plenty of parking. Our beach in front of our home is lovely and serene, perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or simply basking in the sun. We are located 12 minutes to Cape May Proper, Stone Harbor, Wildwood Crest and many other beaches. Our home was remodeled with the urban industrial look. We have a 3rd floor suite with its own bathroom, pottery barn furnishings with amazing views. Two other bedrooms on the second floor share a full bathroom. Those two bedrooms have a queen bed and in each closet a comfortable twin portable bed, perfect for additional child. Their is also a sleeper sofa and powder room on the first floor in the living area. The home also has wonderful large deck outside with a table with seating for 8 guests, Weber grill and outdoor living room furniture overlooking the bay to enjoy your meals at home and relaxation. Theres also a fully fenced in yard with a block patio and fire pit. Our home offers 8 beach chairs, kayaks, soaps, shampoos, kitchen condiments and coffee. Please note weekly rentals must checkin in on Friday’s.

Take walks along the beach, bike along the shore or launch your kayak in front of the house; you may run across a pod of dolphins. brFor a change of pace, visit Victorian Cape May, located just 8 miles south, with its ocean beaches, quaint shops and restaurants. Or head over to Wildwood, 8 miles east. The kids will love the large ocean beaches for body surfing and skim boarding and the amusement rides and waterparks on the boardwalk.brAfter a full day of activity, return to the tranquility of the bay front cottage. Fire up the grill for a BBQ or prepare dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Watch the most amazing sunsets over the water while having dinner on the private patio or the dining room. Then star gaze or view the moon rise/set from the patio while roasting marshmallows and listening to the lapping waves.brbrThe house has central A/C, WIFI, and cable. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and has a full size refrigerator , stove and dishwasher, and a washer and dryer are in the laundry room. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The living room has a full size futon and a queen size sofa bed. The living/dining room has picture windows on three sides, allowing unobstructed views of the beach, the dunes , the water, and amazing sunsets over the bay. brbrThe private outside patio is just off the living/dining room and has the same amazing views. There is a teak outdoor dining table and a couple loungers. A Weber grill is provided for grilling in season. The outside shower has hot and cold water. Please note we no longer have a fire pit.

Both get very busy during the summer, so we highly recommend going earlier in the day to ensure you can find a parking space. brbrbrThe bay beach does not require beach tags and allows dogs before 11 am and after 4 pm from Memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend. It is a much quieter beach than Cape May or Wildwood. The water is brackish and very silty on the bottom. Some people enjoy floating in the water, but be aware you will come out very muddy. There are generally lots of tidal pools perfect for young kids to play in.brbrThere are a few restaurants and shops within walking distance, but most attractions are within a 20 minute drive. The drive way can fit 3 cars and there is also street parking available.brMinimum rental age is 25.brThere is an additional pet cleaning fee of $50 per stay. The Drift Cottage is the `main` cottage and the Sea Haven Tiny Cottage is the rear cottage which is also a vacation rental. The cottages are detached. Each has their own private entrance, parking space and a semi private backyard area for your enjoyment. brbr~Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need for cooking along with basic spices, cooking oil, coffee and sugar. There is a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender and drip coffee maker.brbr~Bedroom 1: Offering a queen size bed, open closet storage and dresser.brbr~Bedroom 2: Offering two (2) twin size beds and dresser.brbr~Pets: We are dog friendly at an additional fee of $100 for the first dog and $50 for a second with a max of 2 dogs.
