Stayed Sep 25, 2025We were in town for a Coast Guard bootcamp graduation. We arrived earlier in the day and the owner was able to accommodate our request to check in early. This house is exactly as it appears in the photos. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, and cookware if you plan to eat in. Fresh clean linens, beach and bath towels were provided. Other properties in this area say that you must bring your own linens and towels. The beds and the couch were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our small group. We would stay here again.

Stayed Jun 24, 2025Just down the street from a small, free and very pretty beach. House and kitchen had everything we needed. Living room was a great gathering spot and super comfortable, as were beds. Dressers to put clothes away in, plenty of hangers in closets and READING LAMPS! Host was available and accommodating. Close to Cape May proper, but MUCH quieter! Good walking area, Rita’s Ice - yum. Nice pub nearby. Keeping this as my first choice for Cape May area.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024Very clean and comfortable. Good location. The only negatives would be the heater is very loud and TV remote needed new batteries and the batteries were not provided.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024This was my first time using Vrbo. Cedar Shade Beach Retreat was home away from home. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Will definitely stay there again. If I can make one suggestion an outdoor shower would be great to rinse off after being on the bay beach.
