In addition, the bay is one block away.brbrOur house is ideal for families, with an easy walk back and forth from the beach for bathroom and snacking needs. For children that are not ready to swim in ocean, the bay beach is a few blocks away. In addition, there are several playgrounds in the area.brbrAfter a day at the beach, enjoy an outside shower, before heading 2-3 blocks to 'town' for dinner.brbrIce cream parlor, deli market, liquor store and restaurants are all within walking distance. Bring your bikes and have a nice ride to Barnegat Lighthouse. Located in Harvey Cedars, this 3000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 3.5 ~ bath bay front home is placed on a 10,000 square foot lot located on a wide cul-de-sac with only a few minutes walk to the beach. The living room, kitchen and 4 of 6 bedrooms have spectacular panoramic views of the bay that will make you feel like you're in the middle of the water. You can enjoy sunset waterfront views directly on an elevated wood deck which wraps around the entire back of the house, or on the lower deck that has 90 feet of direct bay access, which is great for fishing, crabbing, swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding. The bay is especially easy to access for kayaking and paddle boarding by using a large floating dock that can be lowered into the bay. It's also great to sit on or jump off of while it's in the bay. brbrStand up paddle board (2), kayaks (6 available which can seat 8 ppl) and beach chairs are available in the house. brbrRenovations: The kitchen was fully renovated in 2021. New hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs were put in 2021. New custom closets were installed late 2021 and all bathrooms were fully renovated April 2022. A floating dock was installed Nov'20. The house was painted 2022. brbrMost frequent questions we get:br1. How close we are to the beach You only have to cross one road. With two toddlers and a double stroller we manage it with a 8 minute walk. I expect most could do it faster. We have a beach buggy to help bring beach gear. br2. Can you can tie up a boat While we are directly on the bay and have boat cleats that will allow you to tie a boat either to the dock or floating dock, we do not have a boat lift, which unfortunately is required to keep a boat safely overnight directly on the bay to avoid damage (water is too choppy directly on the bay)... so possible to park the boat there for day rentals and to get on and off, but a boat cannot be kept overnight or even during the day if the bay is very choppy.br3. Is there a place to eat outside We have a lot of seating (outdoor dining table that seats 12, 7 adirondack chairs, love seats and rocker chairs) and bar table. brbrBedroom Set-up:brbrFirst Floor:brbr1. You would be renting the downstairs unit. The house was recently renovated. It has hardwood floors throughout the main living area, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with a new LG range with a built-in air fryer. brbrThere are 3 bedrooms all with in-room televisions. There is a master queen room, a room with double single beds, and a bunk bed room that can sleep three. There is also a pull-out couch if you need some extra space in the living room. 1 + 1/2 bath. Finally there is a roof deck about about the size of a tennis court with 360 degree views of the ocean and bay. It makes for a great way to get off the beach for the day or catch a lovely sunset. brbrFor amenities it's one of the best locations on the Island.
