This charming three bedroom, two bathroom custom-built timber frame home sits on an acre and is just ten miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. With three bedrooms and a queen size sofa sleeper, it will comfortably sleep 7 people (five privately). The kitchen comes complete with stainless steel appliances including a microwave. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience and the home is equipped with WIFI internet service and cable television. The back deck offers a peaceful scene into the woods, with a grill ready for you to BBQ. The master suite is located up it's own set of stairs and includes a queen size bed, hand-tiled bathroom, cable television, a private upper level deck, and plenty of room to relax and unwind. The second and third bedrooms are located at the top of an open-air handmade wooden spiral staircase with full and twin beds respectively, built right into the walls. Additionally, there is a soothing meditation loft beneath the skylights which can be reached from the top of a built in ladder off the second floor. There is a television and DVD player in the living area along with a woodstove, perfect for curling up on those chilly Montana nights. The home has a private eight-person hot tub and a fire pit with a fully stocked supply of wood and is situated just a block off the middle fork of the Flathead River. The home is ten miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and only 14 miles from Glacier International Airport in Kalispell. With easy access to Highway 2, this one-of-a-kind timber frame home is perfect for a summer vacation to Glacier National Park or Whitefish Mountain Resort, and is close to many other attractions around the Flathead Valley of Montana. This cabin is accessed via front doorway stairs, and has stairs to each bedroom, with the exception of the living area sofa sleeper. This cabin also has multiple areas that may not be safe for an unsupervised toddler, as there are ladders, and open-air lofts around the main living area.

There are several steps up to the other 2 queen bedrooms with a bathroom with walk-in shower between them. The other full bathroom is on the main floor. The home has brand new furniture and furnishings in 2020 and is ready to welcome your group for a trip to remember to the Flathead!! The property sits above the Flathead River, as shown in the photos, and there is a very steep bank to the river which prohibits walking directly to it. Featuring breathtaking views of the MIddle Fork of the Flathead River, this adorable 1000 sq. ft. log cabin with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms will surely be the place you want to call home when visiting Glacier National Park or other top destinations in the Flathead Valley. The cabin was built by the Amish just a few years ago and is very well stocked and clean. You will enjoy the views and quiet ambience from the covered front porch and yard complete with a fire pit and picnic table. brbrThe driveway to the home is fairly steep and windy, you will want a car with FWD or AWD during the summer and 4WD required November - April. There is a steep bank down to the river so views are amazing but no direct access to get to the water from here, several public access parking and beaches are located within a mile. New construction completed in early 2019, this cabin shares a wooded acre with another identical cabin (also on VRBO.com at http://www.vrbo.com/1583152) on the north side of Hungry Horse, Montana. Logan Cabin is less than a ten mile drive away from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. This cabin is 1200 square feet in size with an open floor plan - the living area, kitchen and dining room are on one end of the cabin and bedrooms are on the opposite end. Enjoy family time with board games, a large-screen HD TV with DirecTV, or hop right outside the dining room door to your very own six-person hot tub just feet from the doorway. The covered outdoor living area has a propane grill, table and cushioned chairs for six, and the hot tub. All situated on a custom flagstone patio. The cabin has contemporary concrete floors with radiant floor heating. Both bedrooms have king size beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses and luxurious bedding. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and private bathroom with double sinks and a custom tiled shower. Both bedrooms have large-screen HD TVs. The pull-out couch has a queen size memory foam mattress. The mud room is equipped with a front loading washer and dryer with ample space for luggage and gear. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The kitchen is fully stocked - prepare a gourmet meal for your friends and family and then relax in the hot tub after a day of exploration. This cabin was designed with comfort in mind, and includes all of the amenities you will need to make your Glacier National Park vacation one for the books.

The home is located on the edge of town across the road from a wooded area and down the hill is the South Fork of the Flathead River that flows from the great Rocky Mountains out to the Pacific Ocean. brEnjoy 1000 square feet of living area in your new home, Burnt Stump Lodge, located in Hungry Horse, a small town of about 900 people that was created when Hungry Horse Dam was built in 1949. The neighborhood the home is in, is one of the first areas developed during dam construction when the town formed and is still inhabited by working class folks, SOME THAT DO LIVE IN OLDER SHABBY TRAILERS, IF THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR YOU, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. (I suggest to do your Google Street View). brThe neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Drink your morning coffee on your balcony and breathe in the ionized air from the river below. Your view is of beautiful Columbia Mountain, the forest, and just a 2-minute walk away is the river where you can throw in a fishing line and catch some dinner! If you choose you can drive to the river access, too.brThere is great cell service and internet. I also have a printer/fax/scanner that can be made available, as well as a portable Air Conditioner (house is very well insulated and with all the ceiling fans as well as a box fan. keeping cool has never been an issue in the past) A washer and dryer are provided. In the evenings, kick back and watch a movie on a huge 80-inch flat screen TV, with HBO, Netflix. Hulu. Disney, also several movies in the archive on Prime, so plenty of options.brbrGlacier International Airport (FCA) is only 12 miles from the home. There is a grocery store in Hungry Horse where you can buy your groceries; larger stores 7 miles away in Columbia Falls; Costco and Wall Mart are 20 miles away in Kalispell. There are many restaurants in town and on the way to the park or prepare your own delicious meals at your peaceful retreat in your kitchen with all new appliances.brbrHOUSEKEEPINGbrWhen you arrive, the home will be clean and set up with bed linens and bath towels.
