Our peaceful retreat is set on a spacious 2-acre lot with private frontage on all sports Lincoln Lake as well as Clear Creek. We’re just a few houses away from the boat launch, providing short and easy routes by land and water to the cottage. brbrOur cottage features two separate buildings; the main house and a two-story `garage` which holds an apartment on the lower level and a game room above. With a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is plenty of room for up to 10 guests. The main house boasts two king bedrooms (one of which can be converted into two twins if needed) and a bunk room with one queen bed, and two twin beds. The apartment is where you’ll find the third king bedroom. Each bedroom is equipped with its own smart TV, while the living rooms in both the main house and apartment feature extra-large smart TVs for your entertainment.brbrSpeaking of entertainment, there is an abundance of activities for you to enjoy during your stay. The upper portion of the garage is an unfinished space that serves as the ultimate game room, complete with arcade games, ping-pong, basketball, air hockey, foosball, and more. Even if the weather doesn`t cooperate, there`s still plenty of fun to be had indoors.brbrThe main house is stocked with board games, and the apartment has a poker table for some friendly competition. For the outdoor fun we provide four kayaks, two stand-up paddle boards and several life jackets for you to explore the lakes and creeks at your leisure. Yes, that’s intentionally multiple lakes and creeks as Lincoln Lake is connected to Black Lake and Blue Lake (you should definitely make the trip to Blue Lake while you’re here)! Relax on our back patio, porch or yard and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Spike Ball, 4-way volleyball, Bocce Ball and cornhole are available for some great fun! brbrIt should be noted that our cottage was built in the 1940s, as such, it has plenty of charm and “cottagey” (as we affectionately refer to them as) features, like a slightly sloped kitchen floor and well-loved countertops. We plan to update the countertops in the future but, for now, feel free to use our fully stocked kitchen, sloped floor and all, complete with some spices. Tv mounted in the bedroom for streaming.brThe loft space upstairs has a Jungle theme, a queen bed and two twin beds, small seating area and tv, perfect space for kids to enjoy playing and watching tv.brThe downstairs has a queen bedroom area for sleeping, a game area with shuffleboard, pinball, and tiki theme indoor bar! brAnd a wonderful movie collection to enjoy movie nights.brThe Tiki Bar is located right down by the water with a grill, 2 refrigerators, Bluetooth stereo, and includes a splash pad, 5 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and a 4 person pedal boat. brWe are pet friendly for(1) house broken dog as long as all shots as well as flee and tick treatment is up to date for $175 for the duration of your stay. We have parking for no more than 4 cars total, two in the garage and two smaller ones in the driveway. No street parking allowed. We also offer day rate for a visitor not to exceed 10 people total including booked guest for $35 each person per day from anytime between 10 am to 10 pm. Hot tub hours are from 8:00am to no later then11:00pm. Please keep the cover closed when no one is in the hot tub. No children under 15 years of age not allowed in the hot tub without an adult. NO parties are allowed do to close neighbors. Not following house guidelines may cause reservation to be canceled without a refund. This is a family neighborhood and quiet place on the lake to relax and enjoy the lake life. We do have outdoor security cameras on site for your protection as well as ours. Our cozy cottage getaway is located on Lincoln Lake in Gowen Michigan. Lincoln Lake is an all sports lake. It boast great fishing for bluegill, bass, walleye, and pike. Also pleasure boating, water sports, and swimming. Lincoln Lake does connect to other lakes by way of channels (Little Lincoln, Black Lake and Blue Lake). brbrIt is located within 5-15 minutes of restaurants, golfing, soccer golf, frisbee golf, parks, libraries, ice cream parlor, gas station with convenience store, dollar store and much more. Located between Greenville and Cedar Springs. Rockford is 15-20 minutes away and Grand Rapids is only 25 minutes away. The cottage has two bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath. Sleeps 6 comfortably in either a king size bed, queen size bed or bunk beds. Open living room/dining room/kitchen. Many amenities included such as high speed internet/AppleTV/Hulu and Netflix, bedding and towels, dishes, Keurig coffee maker, washer and dryer, multiple chaise lounges and outdoor furniture, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards with life jackets, fire pit (wood not supplied), gas grill, sandy beach and dock. brbrThe open front deck gives a fabulous view of the sandy beach and the lake. The water front is shallow with a sandy bottom for at least 80 feet out. Fishing is great right off the dock. Perfect for kids. Boats are permitted and can be anchored right out front or tied to the dock. Boat launch is located a block away. Off street parking for two vehicles. Professionally landscaped and recently updated inside. Newly installed and updated water softener. Cottage sits on the west side of the lake to enjoy beautiful sunrises.brbrSpraying of Lake to control weeds and algae is done 4 times during the summer months. The dates are subject to change each season. Docks are provided between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All items in photos are subject to change. If you wish to book two weeks together, simply let us know. Weekend blocks are there only for cleaning crews to come in to prep for the next renter.
