The only bathroom is located in the primary bedroom. brbrThe steps to the loft are steep and not safe for young children without adult supervision. brbrParking can be a challenge in Rockport during the summer - there is abundant street parking, including four spots right in front of our home but they fill up fast and are metered for a max of 2 hours. There is a free pier parking lot next to the house, but it`s only available on one side and again, fills up fast and you have to be out by 6 PM. brbrFor longer term parking, there is a parking lot less than a mile away at the Blue Gate Meadow lot. From the parking lot, it is about a 3/4 mile walk or trolley ride to downtown Rockport. Fortunately, everything in Rockport is less than a 10 minute walk from the house and unless you`re visiting the other Cape Ann towns (which we encourage!) you won`t need your car.brbrWe have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.brbrAbsolutely no smoking inside, on the porches, or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.brbrWhile we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.brbrPlease note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.

House is in the historic downtown of Rockport, with access to the beach just across the street. brbrThe apartment is on the 2nd floor in a quiet, sunny part of the historic house. The studio includes a separate bedroom, a new kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a small storage space used as a pantry or wardrobe. The original hardwood floors had been newly refinished in navy blue. In the bathroom and kitchen are new Italian and granite tiles. The bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, a full-size bed, Pier 1 closet, Pier 1 glass table and chairs, and an HD TV. The apartment has a separate electric meter; the tenants pay for their electricity, including heating (electric baseboards).
