Double Happiness is located two blocks from the historic seaside Village of Siasconset on the eastern edge of Nantucket Island where the sun rises first in the United States. It's a short walk to the life-guarded beach and the classic rose-covered cottage village which has a summer movie theater, three great restaurants, a seaside bar, Claudette's sandwich shop, liquor store, food market, beachfront playground, and a post office. Kids can easily ride bikes to the Sconset Market for ice cream cones or to one of the two scenic bike paths that lead to other parts of the island.brbrThe two story home is an almost 4000 sq ft, newly renovated 6 bedroom, 3 full bathroom house on a corner lot with a landscaped yard enclosed by privet hedges. There are three off-street parking places, two of them on private Comeau Lane, and three separate outdoor seating areas: a spacious teak deck a with gas grill, a balcony off the second floor master bedroom, and a dining table under a shady tree. At the rear of the house there is an outdoor shower and a laundry line for beach towels.br brThe house has an open concept, lots of natural light, with many places to gather and hang out, or to be private.
